My goals for June are: * to lose at least 4lbs (preferably more) * to do the 30 day black dress challenge http://30dayfitnesschallenges.com/30-day-little-black-dress-challenge * To take at least three 30 minute walks per week * To try and do some kind of exercise every day *

Walking as much as possible once baby arrives then after my 6 week check hopefully will add in some swimming/Aqua classes and build back up to my Zumba class two times a week and possibly some gym sessions. Really looking forward to getting back into exercise and working at getting the baby weight off and my body back.

38w 5d and so far I've gained 30lbs which is more than I would've liked - I've constantly craved sweet stuff though so it's hardly suprising I've gained a little more than I did during my 1st pregnancy (28lbs although he was born at 36 weeks). I've found the weigh gain a lot harder to deal with this time as after our son…

Ooooh I forgot to mention raw vegetables cut into strips and served as crudites with hummus. I usually use red/yellow/orange bell peppers, mushrooms, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, mangetout, cauliflower and broccoli heads, carrot sticks.

Omelette, salad with either chicken, ham, tuna or boiled egg or sometimes a little low fat cheese, weight watchers crackers with topping, soup (although maybe not in the hot weather). I always find lunch the hardest as am usually either trying to have it on the go or around our little boys lunchtime.

I started the C25K last week (on Thursday 26th ) and am loving it so far. I completed week 2 session 1 last night and found it quite difficult in parts, my legs were burning but I pushed through and made it to the end which is pretty massive achievement as I have never been a runner. My body was built for comfort not for…

I took the plunge and started this last week. Completed week 2 day 1 this evening and I am really enjoying it so far. I've never been a fan of running but this is so well put together that even the most run phobic person can give it a go. I'm already seeing a difference in my stamina and looking forward to my next session.

Hi I'm Sharon, 37 from the UK. Our little boy will be 1 in 12 days time and I am happy that I managed to lose the stone of baby weight I had to shift quite quickly. Since then I just kept going and have lost 34lbs taking me down to 166lbs (my current weight) ideally I'd love to get down to 140lbs so still have a little way…

I'm 4ft 11" and currently 166lbs (lost 34lbs so far) but because of my height don't carry any extra weight too well. I always say I wouldn't need to lose weight if I was 5ft 10" as it would all appear more balanced  If anyone wants to add me as a friend feel free.

Some great suggestions here. I find that on certain days I burn a lot more calories through exercise and so to meet my net calories I need to increase my calorie intake slightly but have mostly been having nuts (which get very boring after a while). At least now I have a few more ideas that I can try out. Am intrigued…

This thread is so inpsirational - all you ladies look great! Not confident enough to post a picture of me in any kind of bathing suit/bikini at the moment but it would be great if this thread was still going in the summer when hopefully I will have reached my goal and will finally feel like I can join you all in posting my…

Me too! The reason I don't post pictures of my body now is because I don't want anyone to see it. However if I get to a stage where I am happy to be seen in a bikini then damn right I'll post pictures of it!

I am just getting into Pinterest but am loving it so far. If anyone wants to add me I am smileyshazza on there

I have it and I also go to 'proper' Zumba classes and I have to say I still feel like I have had a good workout when doing Zumba 2 on the Wii. I say don't worry about whether you are corordinated the joy of Zumba is that it is meant to be fun! Nobody cares if you hit every step and if you are doing it at home who knows if…

I have been cutting back on refined carbs as I kn ow my body doesn't cope well with them and I very rarely drink alcohol either. Have also tried ziig zagging calories and increasing the intensity of my workouts. I was lucky that I only put on 1lb over Christmas and I lost that the following week but I just can't seem to…

Thing is I am having to do that as my body shape is changing so quickly. We have scales that measure body fat/muscle and water and they are showing my body fat going down (yay) and my muscle mass going up. Am wondering if this may also be a factor in the scales not moving as they always say muscle weighs more than fat…

Thanks for the tips there. I am going to try and increase my water intake each day and I have increased my calories up to 1350 and will see how that goes. I know it's a case of keep ploughing on with it until you get through the hurdle its just SO blooming infuriating.

Up until about 10 days ago I wasn't logging my food as I didn't want to become obsessive about things and as I had been losing I assumed I had been doing everything correctly. I decided to start logging as some days I do quite a lot of exercise (maybe two classes and a swim) and I was worried that I wasn't eating enough…

Anyone?

Thanks it was hard choosing which charity to go for but this is one that appeals to me as it is a childrens charity and god forbid if anything were to happen to our little one I know how much it would mean to us that he died happy.
-
I am doing the same for Make a Wish foundation. I am working at achieving my dream and if I can help a dying child get theirs before they are taken away then it'll be worth the extra work I'll have to put in. its just trying to make people aware of my challenge and getting them to donate. I only set it up today and really…

I have been trying to do the Shred first thing in the morning so that I am recovered enough to still do Zumba in the evening. I think the best thing to do is see how you feel on the day. You can always have a day off the shred and just start it the next day where you left off, this is what I do if I feel I might find it…

L1 Day 2 completed yesterday - it did feel a little bit easier than the first day but I still had to really push myself with some of the exercises and I got very sweaty and out of breath so I know I was putting in enough effort  Must say in a strange way am enjoying it - I like the fact its only small segments so I…
-
Can I join you all please? I started the shred yesterday and although I found it difficult I was more amazed I managed to do it! I have decided to skip today as I have just been to my first Zumba class and it feels like my legs might drop off right now! Shall recommence the shred tomorrow as I don't want to lose momentum.…

It was day one for me and it is so good to read stories like this as I am hoping seeing pictures of real life people who have completed the shred will spur me on to keep going with it. Well done - you should be proud of yourself  you look fab!
