Billy Blanks Ultimate Bootcamp Jillian Michaels - Killer Buns and Thighs JM - Ripped in 30

I have had 2 emergency c sections, one 5 years ago and the second 15 mths ago. I now have a slight bulge just above the scar but no overhang. I did it all with exericse DVDs. My top DVD recommendations for stomach flattening are "10 minute solutions pilates perfect body" and "Charlie Brooks before and after". (You also…

I would probably put it under "cleaning" - you can choose from "heavy" or "light" depending on how vigourous you think you were being!

well said!

Hi and welcome. I'm a mum of 2 also, and have finally managed to lose the last few lbs of baby weight, thanks to MFP! All the best to you, you can do it!

Grrrrr. I'm a pear shape and very jealous of those with lovely slim thighs and bums!!
-
My husband, because I will stop moaning at him about being fat!

I grew up in Stanmore, Middlesex. Now living in Hertfordshire. Welcome to the site. It really works! Wishing you all the best.

Hi, just wanted to say I was in your position a few months back, had my 2nd baby 9 months ago and had over 2 stone to lose. And have done it thanks to MFP! Wishing you all the best, you can definitely do it!

This makes sense. Personally I would rather have my lifestyle activity level set at sedentary but log the walking when I do it (not every day, I work part time), as it's less likely to overestimate my level of exercise that way I think.

That outfit looks great on you!
-
You look amazing, what a tiny waist and great curves!
-
That's incredible, you look like a different person! Oh and you have beautiful eyes!
-
Oh and p.s. you can watch tv while you do it which is obviously a bonus BUT you need to make sure that doesn't lull you into going too slowly and not putting the effort in!!

From what I've read doing intervals is the most effective way to use an exercise bike. I do 30 seconds going flat out followed by 1 minute at a medium pace, repeat for as long as your workout lasts. I do this on a pretty high resistance level. You also need to mix it up with some strength training too. Sometimes I do a 10…

Scrambled egg with chopped ham and tomatoes. With or without a slice of wholemeal toast.

Hahahahahahaha that is brilliant! My mum used to do Jane Fonda workouts too, but they were on audio tape so we did not get to appreciate the full beauty of the outfits!

OP I love the Shred, BUT I would say if you have only had your baby 10 weeks ago I would be careful of jumping straight in with this, esp if you had a c section. I would recommend a bit of gentler muscle rehab first, something like Erin O'Brian's postnatal rescue DVD. I only felt up to shredding about 6 months post baby…

TOTM?

A photo taken at a bad angle can be unflattering no matter how thin you are! Don't feel bad, you are doing amazingly.
-
Not silly, that's brilliant!
-
What a great start. It's amazing when you start to see results isn't it?

DVD recommendations: Any Jillian Michaels one - 30 Day Shred is a good place to start. Davina's ones are good. My 3 30 minute workouts or Super Body workout. Any Tae Bo one (martial arts style). 10 Minutes Solutions ones are good. Charlie Brooks Before and After is really good. Have a look on Amazon.

I do Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and No More Trouble Zones DVDs which are great for working arms and legs at the same time. My arms look amazing! (Shame my legs don't look as good - I'm a pear too!) I do them with 2kg weights.
-
Brilliant job! Well done.
-
Amazing, well done!

You speak a lot of sense. I am probably guilty of wanting to get down to a "round number" (126lbs = 9 stone exactly) just for the sake of it rather than thinking about when I actually look my best. I need to see how I go over the next few lbs lost and stop when it looks right! I'm sure a lot of people do the same - 125lbs…

Mine is 126 lbs (9 stone in UK speak!). Currently 131/132 lbs. Have got down from 140 since joining MFP about 5 weeks ago; and down from around 155 a few weeks after having my 2nd child last Sept.

I've been there Becky! I would insist on a referral to an endocrinologist. If you can afford it or have health insurance that would cover it, go private. If not, go NHS. GPs are RUBBISH in this respect!!
