I have been zig/zagging my calorie intake. Ie., my goal is 1400 a day but I go under some days and over some days. But I hit the average and i'm able to eat unhealthy and fun some days. If you are losing constantly this is good. Just keep working at it. You are going in the right direction!

I find i'm much hungrier when I have carbs later at night. I know its weird, but its how my body works. When i'm hungry at night now I usually choose a protein.

I have been enjoying a similar breakfast... Kangaroo salad pouch (like a pita), egg beater with a couple of mushrooms, 3 slices of ready made bacon and laughing cow blue cheese spread. 220 Calories... FYI - I hate yogurt too! :)

When I did it successfully, I stayed between 25-30 net carbs a day. NOTE: sugar alcohols often stalled me. I did much better with subtracting natural fiber counts to achieve my goal.

I'm not doing Atkins anymore but if you're doing low carbing correctly, 2 -3 cups of green veggies daily and many of the low carb products add fiber to bring down the net carbs. All this equals you can be quite "regular" LOL...

I usually save about 800-900 calories for my evenings since I am usually hungrier at night (and have more options then when i'm at work). For me when i'm hungry and close to my end of calories, protein calms the pang. A hard boiled egg, slice of turkey breast. Carbs make me hungry like crazy. I say eat too.. just for me cereal wouldn't be the way to go at the end of my calorie count that day. :)

I'm no where near an expert here but I find that protein calms my hunger pangs while anything with sugar (natural or not) makes me hungry.
