  • Chicken Tikki Masala with Naan and too much wine on Friday nights. I calorie count and compensate for what I want those days. For me I net calorie 1400 daily (or average that for the week if some days are a little higher/lower then others). Live your life!
  • When I did Atkins you were supposed to subtract fiber and sugar alcohols from your Carb count to get your Net Carb count. When you calorie count (instead of Carb count) this is not to be done. Your calories in are calories in and only exercise calories burned are subtracted on MFP for a net calorie intake total.

  • Thats very true for me but i'm unsure if it is just the imprint of what I was fed when I was young. I usually defer to soups now as they are also a comfort for me. Most are high in sodium but your sick and need to eat something. I find I bounce a little water weight for a couple of days and then flush.. all gone.
