La Tortilla Factory has a few versions of the: Smart & Delicious 100 Calorie Tortillas..

I second (or is that third) the Zig/Zag calories and making sure you are eating enough approach. I did want to mention though that I had a plateau described to me by a trainer a while ago as more then 4 weeks with no lbs OR inches lost. I think we all want results so quickly that its hard to focus on your body adjusting to…

Today flat out wrap with ham, laughing cow swiss, arugula and dijon (220 calories)

I'm a night eater myself.. so I just plan most of my calories for later. I have a breakfast and lunch and try to keep them at 300 calories or less each.. then I have a lot left for my evenings. This way of eating just has you stay within your net calories daily (day or night). Make it fit YOUR schedule. If your just eating…

Some meds slow your metabolism, that and actually not eating enough will make your body cling to the weight. Just get back to doing right and this will all work itself out. I have had a plateau explained to me as more then 4 weeks of no lbs or inches lost.

Got this one from others here but just had it today and surprisingly filling for me. 1 toasted multigrain waffle, 1 TBS better then butter (Trader Joe's lower calorie PB), and 1/2 sliced banana (208 calories) YUM!

This is a hard one. I didn't/don't have kids but I was much heavier with my ex-husband who made me feel so ugly and bad about myself without even trying. Just always free with negative comments that I took so personally. The worst part of this for you is that confidence is sexy, can make you feel sexy, can make you want to…

False, want to lose another 25-30. So glad about that one :p The next person likes peanut butter.

I do better with a protein when I have a craving. Seems to curb it.. a hard boiled egg.. couple bites of tuna..
-
I'm not pushing you to do this, especially since long term it did not work for me. I just want to say that I was doing tons of cardio/strength training at the time with a personal trainer and felt damn good in my body eating very low carb (lots of veggies... ie., low net carbs). There are a lot of commonalities and…

Had a deli turkey, 1/2 slice of cheddar, lettuce, hot peppers, dijon mustard earlier. It was ok.. I am really posting to bump into my queue :)

Atkins starts with 25 net carbs a day (that would be any carb - fiber count and - sugar alcohols).
-
I did it AS WRITTEN for about 4 years and lost and kept most of 100lbs off a few years back. So many do not. I did very well.. I truly felt healthy (after the first 2 weeks of induction). The reasons I left Atkins were: * not a diet you can cheat with - if you find your not consistent with eating one way you have big…

Just checked out your diary and those little frozen meals don't fill me up at all. I don't really know why but I do much better making a wrap sandwich or having a salad for the same calories?

My opinion.. is that you are in a kind of relationship just by the time you spend together. But it sounds like it is one not going anywhere. Any healthy relationship requires being open with communication. Being true to yourself and being open about who you are and what you want/need. I'm not talking about the lovey dovey…

Figure when you most like to snack and save calories for that time. I personally am an evening nosher... so I usually try to keep my breakfast and lunch to about 500 calories. Then I have about 900 for the evenings. Thats working with my timing and my net calories, but you get the idea.

Drinking water is so right!!! But about food, I say make the best choices you can and be ok with that. Lots of seriously good mexican food out there.. I live in PA and there is nothing even close around me. Just go easy on cheese and sour cream... Watch portions.. document food when you can for accountability.. Walk/hike…

If i'm hungry after I eat, I eat some protein... I wish it wasn't true but often simple sugars (breads, sweet treats - low cal or not) inflame my hunger.
-
Good post!

My go to snacks... hard boiled egg (70 calories) tuna fish (can made with 1 tsp mayo and lots of dijon mustard) go nice on cucumbers, red peppers or trader joe everything crackers Trader Joe humus and veggies or their everything crackers (14 crackers and 2 TBS hummus are 200 cals) Trader Joe Fruit Frenzy bar (120 calories)…
-
I do agree.. these are our choices. Owning what we do is empowering!
-
Trader Joe's fruit frenzy bar rocks and i'm finding remarkably filling at only a 120 calories.

You are so right. Decisions have been modified by looking at it first. Also some odd finds as you go. For me at least I have had surprizes.. Like I went to Olive Garden last week and "portion" of their side salad was 250 calories VS a bowl of their creamy Zuppa Toscona which was only 200.

On demand. Just type in 10 (for 10 minutes) and see some options. They seem lame at first but I get a good sweat going and i'm losing and feeling good so ... i'll take it :p
-
Probably not what you wanted but Netflix has some fun 10 minute workouts. Some strengthening, toning, pilaties.. stuff like that. You can add a few a day... fit them in.. try them without spending money.
-
Make it work for you. Zig/Zag your days. Have some lower days during the week to compensate. Just make sure your weekly calories average what you should be netting. And POST it all to be sure. Only here a month but losing and feel good about having it all (within reason LOL) some days :)
-
My saving graces are protein. Bang for the low calorie buck because it curbs my hunger. Tuna with a lil bit of mayo and healthy bit of spicy dijon mustard or a hard boiled egg. Stuff I would have NEVER chosen before this site has helped me immeasurably..
-
I'm a vinegar freak so can do a salad with just vinegar... would love some other ideas though.
-
If you have Netflix they have a few fun 10 minute workouts. I do a couple, few.. in between tv shows or laundry.
-
I kinda agree with the don't diet mentality overall but with specific caveats.. You see I lost over 100lbs about 8 years ago. I did it on Atkins and was strong and healthy and it worked for me. Until my lifestyle changed and other reasons which would probably bore you. Anyway.. the diet no longer worked for me and my scale…
