Sometimes I wish I would have never started this. I think eating all those calories got me to a point where I feel like I am the "old me" that was unhealthy and ate poorly. I just don't know. I know that I refuse to eat VLC again, so I need to just quit complaining and get on track.

We all felt the same way in the beginning. Just stick to it and be consistent! And step away from the scale for a couple weeks so you don't obsess over it and freak out. You will feel so much better after a couple days. You'll have more energy and just feel amazing! Promise!

I am having a hard time figuring out what type of cardio to do on my off days from lifting too! I tried C25K, but it was so boring. I love doing cardio classes, but it adds lifting and they don't recommend additional lifting on top of NROLFW.

Thanks for the encouragement Kiki!!!! Day 1 of CUT was rough for me and I ended up at TDEE. But, it's a new day, I can see where I failed and why, and I will do better today.

I did a 5 week reset, and started my 10% cut today! I am looking forward to seeing how this works. Total I've gained about 8 lbs, but have lost inches in my chest and upper abs due to NROLFW. I'm very anxious to see this fat start melting off. I can see the muscles underneath of it!

AMEN!!! I agree with you 100%!!!! I DO NOT talk down to myself in front of my girls because I refuse to make them ? themselves in light of my goals. My daughter knows that I am working out to be healthy and live a long life.

Love this! I am getting way too excited to start eating cut! I am finally ready for the next chapter to begin! WE ARE GOING TO DO THIS FINALLY! You and I are totally in the same boat too. Had my 2 yr old 1/12/10, and still waiting to get rid of her baby weight after initially doing WW again and losing a bit and stalling.

Amazing idea! Now when we have off days we can read these as a reminder of the benefits of what we are doing. I did WW off and on for years after having my children. I always hit a plateau and couldn't get past it. I came onto MFP after a friend recommended the typical 1200 cal diet on here. It wasn't getting me anywhere.…

Thanks for posting this! I've been skipping my circuit classes since doing NROLFW since they incorporate weights. I've hated just doing the boring cardio machines. I might just have to add in some of the classes again.

I've been doing my lunges with a bar the whole time! Did I miss something? Should I have been doing them with db's instead?

I am in Phase 1 right now and can see huge improvements in weight already. I am in week 5. My biggest jumps were in squats, lunges, and deadlifts. I started out with 10 on squats and do 50 right now, same with lunges, and started with the bar alone and 5 lbers on each side, and now 95 lbs total--that includes the bar. But…
