Thanks!!!! :) And, I am so sore today in places I didn't know I could be sore. My lower lower abs are killing me and we don't really do "ab" specific workouts with it, since they say total body gets it all. Maybe it was those prone jackknives though?

In my opinion it would be hard to do at home, unless you have the necessary weights, bars, and a workout ball. It can be done definitely, but I think the gym experience would be better.
-
I'm already anxious for the next stage! I did Workout A, the 3rd workout. So I just started doing less reps, so I really upped the weight today. Good job!

She did tell me that if things do not start to work out for her, that she'd give my way a try. We'll see. She's pretty bull headed.

I couldn't agree more! I find myself being so much happier now! I love this group and everyone on it!
-
It's so clear to me after reading everything. I am just shocked that people refuse to grasp it and understand that they could be happy and HEALTHY!
-
That is awesome!!!!! How exciting!!!! Keep posting these everyone! I love them!

What is your current goal as far as calorie intake? Have you calculated your BMR and TDEE?
-
It sounds to me like you should try to read the metabolism reset board. I don't think you are eating enough period. If you go to the scooby workshop to get your BMR and TDEE, I can help you figure what you should be eating.

I actually have the fat blaster Turbo Jam workout too. I might have to break it out. I think I still have it. May have sold it in my garage sale though.
-
I definitely prefer to not to the huge burners like Insanity, because I am working on building muscle. I thought about doing C25K too since I am doing 2 5k's this summer and I am not a good runner at all.
-
I've done Insanity before, but sold the dvd's.
-
That is awesome! Congrats!
-
Amen! I don't know what I would have done without you girls! You are a true inspiration! To think that I'd be struggling for the rest of my life without this board, is crazy!
-
I really can relate to what you guys are saying in these videos. Trying to explain this to my friends who do low cal diets and no exercise is like talking to a wall. Because I am just starting and they do not see my results yet, they refuse to listen and think I am crazy!
-
HAPPY 5000!!!!!! I am watching the videos right now!
-
I saw some from Bodybuilding.com that got good reviews too, for only $9. Or free with order over $100. I know I need to buy protein soon, so maybe I can wait until then? I think I might try Walmart and see what I can find. My poor hands are so callused already. Mainly from the deadlifts.
-
It's a start. And then try to start adding more when it gets too easy.
-
I read in NROLFW that when you do the deadlifts and have back issues to wear the straps they provide at the gym. I've never had to use them, but I bet they'd help!
-
I couldn't agree more! It's definitely a mind game! I thought I was soooooo big this weekend. I gave in and weighed myself and I am still maintaining after the initial 3 lb gain that I had when I intially started to add calories. I've been at TDEE for almost 2 weeks now and doing a 4 week reset.
-
GOOD JOB! Loving these posts today!
-
I absolutely love reading these articles. It pumps me up!
-
I'm glad you reposted this! I posted it on my Wall on here too! Amen! I still shake my head and think "Why didn't I know this before?" I am just glad I know now and can start this thing!
-
OMG! AWESOME JOB! You have gotten me super excited!!!! I just started last week and started Week 2 today. I'm loving it so far and cannot wait to see my Month 1 results! Good luck on the next phase. I can't wait to see those results from you!
-
That's awesome! I am doing NROLFW too! I just started Week 2 Phase 1 today.
-
I am so excited about it! 2 of my friends have already "liked" it too. They've heard me talking about it and one is doing the reset with me right now.
-
Good job!

Have you done the metabolism reset? The same thing was happening to me. I started eating 1891 every day after 1200 low, and initially gained about 3 lbs and then held steady and was maitaining at that weight. Your body needs a reset after all the years of holding at 1200 or less, etc. There is a stickied item on this board…
