I was doing exactly what you are doing, but only maintaining my weight. So I asked the same ?s and was told to do the reset.
-
I forgot to add my ?'s. Do I eat back my workout calories? Whats the difference between doing this for 4 or 8 weeks? I think I'll start at 4, but don't want to cheat myself by not doing 8.

Ok people, I am scared as hell, but I'm in! After everything I've read, I see that I need this reset. MY INFO Rachael, 29, turning the dreaded 30 in July! Didn't want to be fat going into my 30's. Married for 10 years, have two girls, ages 8 and 2. I've been skinny my whole life, and fit! After my first pregnancy 8 years…

What confuses me is that I'm already eating more and maintaining. If I eat even MORE I'll just gain!
-
My TDEE is 2377 and cut is 2020 according to Scooby. I NEVER eat below my BMR. I almost always hit at least 1861 which was my target since I was going to work my way up.
-
I was thinking the same thing! I just reset mine to 15% of what I was just eating, which is roughly 1600. So we'll see how that goes.
-
Thanks, Lillydlc!!! I'll head that way!
-
Awesome job! Keep it up!
-
I'm sorry let me clarify, I've been eating at my cut for the past 6-8 weeks and only maintaining.
-
Ok....I am at almost 8 weeks of eating at TDEE and I am just maintaining. I am not losing anything. So, what do I do next? Do I lower them again? I don't want to mess everything up! Help!

I have a high impact Danskin sports bra from Walmart that I absolutely love! Holds the girls and super comfy! I think I paid $10 for it.
-
Thanks ladies! Love you guys on here!

I'm just trying to find a good balance. I do enjoy cardio, now I just need to work it in to a new plan and be consistent with it.

I highly appreciate these videos!!! Thank you so much!

I was actually thinking about starting C25K as well. I've gotten so close to finishing in the past and always stopped mid way through. My husband seems to think that if I do all this strength training its going to make a big difference. He looks amazing and knows his stuff, so I am going to try it.

Even WW has started counting them towards points too. For some. I quit WW a few months back.
-
I wake up earlier than the kids so I have time to fully get ready and eat before I have to start taking care of them. So I always eat within an hour of waking up.
-
I appreciate all of you! Thanks again!

Thanks ladies! I think I just needed someone else to agree with me, so I wasn't thinking I was nuts! LOL
-
Glad to see this! I just had a big gain too. Not sure if its from being better about tracking the last week and upping cals, plus more water consumption and my body holding it, or what. Trying not to get discouraged and hoping things pay off next week.

All of you on here truly inspire me! I CAN'T WAIT!

Thanks, Lucia! I definitely started out heavier than I thought I could. I way underestimated my ability. Joe really pushed me. I am so excited to see what happens.
-
Thanks! I feel good about it. Just a little hesistant. But, I am trusting it.
-
I am new to this too, but so far I've been filling my snacks with more than just fruit and veggies and adding whole grains, granola, peanut butter, yogurts, etc.

The machines are just an estimate based on your weight and height. The real measure is different based on your individual ability. You would need a heart rate monitor to be accurate. I was way overestimating my calorie before getting one.
