I'm a Beachbody girl. I've completed Power 90, P90X, and Insanity. I have Turbo Fire and am currently doing P90X again. Add me if you'd like.

When I do chocolate milk as a recovery drink I just use Hershey's chocolate...yeah, I know it's full of chemicals, but my understanding of the 4:1 ration is that 4 part carbs should be simple carbs because it will replenish the glycogen quicker.

I keep it pretty simple. When I make brown rice, after it's finished cooking I love to add fresh cilantro. You could use whatever you prefer.

Fresh fruit is always good. I usually have mine with an apple. A good alternative to honey is agave nectar.

For my 1st round we used to have a Bow Flex, so I just modified by doing pull downs, but now since we don't have the bow flex anymore I just use my hand weights--usually between 8 to 12 lbs depending on the exercise.

Macros are the distribution of calories between carbs, protein, and fat. I currently am set at 40 / 35 / 25 respectively. I'm wondering how other ladies with PCOS have theirs set as.

I think that it's only too much if you are neglecting your responsiblities and other priorities.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for some veggies to add to my husband's lunchbag. Organic celery will be on my shopping list for this week!
