  • You do have a lot of posts but thats a great thing! MFP needs more people like you on here!
  • Welcome!! Hope you're having a good weekend and weight loss can certainly be a straggle you just need to continually work at it. I struggled with it almost my entire life but if you seriously decide it's time for a change you will take the proper action to do so!
  • Hello I'm a 22 year old that struggled with weight for almost my entire life however when I was about 19 I decided to take action. It's now just over 2 years later and I feel like a whole new person. I hated everything about being over weight and I truly feel like it gave me a second chance at life if you or anyone else…
  • I basically do there are exceptions every now and then but almost all of my friends do as well!
  • College student here as well, welcome! I love MFP it's truly a great tool in accountability and keeping track of everything in your diet. Best of luck to you!
  • Yeah there is definitely a lot of misreported nutritional information on here you need to examine a do a little research of your own before just jotting down whatever it comes up as.
  • Whenever I run interval training if I'm on a treadmill I won't count the time resting like If I run then step off. However, if I run and then just bring it down to a walk during rests I'll count it all equally basically.
  • I have splurge days as well helps keep me sane and as you said gives you something to look forward to!
  • I would appreciate her GREATLY!
  • Honestly unless he's adding in any type of extra fitness activities that he hasn't been performing for the past however many years I wouldn't add it in. His current weight is already calculated in with his lifestyle of working on the farm therefore adding that in to give him extra daily calories wouldn't really help. I…
  • I crave all those things as well I let myself splurge on weekends normally and then kick the diet into high gear come monday.
  • College guy right here! Anyone welcome to add!
  • Not true whatsoever that doing the same cardio will eventually result in the burning of less calories. To be honest the weight gain was simply from food, one thing I always say is, no amount of exercise can offset a bad diet. Not saying you have a bad diet just trying to make the point that just because you're doing extra…
  • Multi vitamin, fish oil, creatine, protein. The only supplements I whole heartedly trust and recommend.
  • Search around the web for bodyweight exercises; body squats, triceps dips, lunges, etc. There's plenty you can do without ever stepping foot in the gym. Add in a really small weight set and you can truly work wonders in the privacy of your own home, not to mention avoiding all the expenses that come along with gym…
  • Eating under your recommend allowance will just put you into a further deficit however it will make things more difficult when you do plateau (level off) with your weight loss. Hey, if you can eat under and feel satisfied and full all the power to you though it will only speed up results in the short run!
  • I'm always looking to encourage others no matter what their goals may be fitness related or not. Everyone needs someone to help them get through sometimes, as much as I consider myself someone that likes to get it done on their own I'll even admit that I truly rely on the help of others in times of high stress. Feel free…
  • It does cause you to retain water however you can offset by drinking a ridiculous amount of water to flush your system out. That should balance everything out.
  • There really isn't there's a lot of debate that claims doing high intensity cardio bouts in the morning is most efficient because of the "after burn" affect but truly its such a small factor. Just make sure that you do work out not so much about when its really just all about burning the calories when you do it is…
  • 10 lbs is more than reasonable and begin with that its a good goal to start at. Who knows maybe you'll get there by early December and be able to add a couple more onto the goal before Christmas! You can definitely do it though, good luck!!
  • There's nothing wrong with subway in general its just all the added ingredients they provide that people CHOOSE to add to their sandwich that make them calorie kings. If you stick to a basic 6 inch sandwich with something like turkey breast or chicken breast and decide not to add on a bunch of garbage dressings I don't see…
  • Agree with the guy above me; please define "healthy" because to me there is no such thing as unhealthy foods, only unhealthy diets.
  • You were counting calories on WW as well they just made it a tad bit easier for you. 45-50 calories is roughly the equivalent to one point. You can still follow the WW "lifestyle" as you say just change you're calories into points if that's the way you prefer to do it? Regardless, you CAN do this and if just practice a…
  • That's awesome good for you! Great self control keep it up!
  • You look incredible awesome work that's some serious hard work and dedication!!
  • No I wouldn't recommend carb sensitive if you're not losing anymore weight there is truly only one answer and that is to lower your caloric intake. That paired with an extra exercise day a week will surely have you losing numbers on the scale rather quickly.
  • Great Job awesome transformation! You look great!
  • Arctic Zero ice cream or more properly named "frozen dessert" a little bit not he expensive side but if you truly have a sweet tooth the way that you do an entire pint of ice cream for only 150 calories should definitely do you justice. I recommend vanilla maple, mint chocolate, cookies and chocolate and chocolate peanut…
