Hello and whats the current goal you want completed before your trip? Sry if it's already in your profile, but you came to the right place for support I absolutely love MFP. Someone is always there for you when you need them on here!

It was already said above I believe but yea a lot of it was probably water weight in the beginning and you're body not being used to such an active lifestyle. It's almost like a jumpstart, and again it was stated above but results will dramatically slow down, I'd almost be more concerned if they didn't! Great job though…

Welcome, welcome best of luck on your 30 day challenge Morgan MFP will work wonders for you and you're goals!!

Absolutely you do weight lifting is an incredible way to burn calories. I mean to be honest your body burns calories by just sitting there doing nothing. Therefore anything that requires you to move will burn calories, meaning weightlifting burns a significant amount!

Add protein powders, different fruits, be creative research a few recipes on google that use low fat cottage cheese you'll be sure to find something you like.

Your body getting used to a workout specifically any kind of weight resistance workout is a complete myth. So long as you are effectively activating the muscle you are trying to from workout to workout results will not be cut short because you're performing the same exercises. Thats in reference to resistance training, and…

A general rule is that there is 4 calories for every gram of protein and carbohydrate in your diet. However there are 9 calories for every gram of fat. Add up all you're numbers divide by 3 should give you a good estimate.

That's tough best I can really think of is set higher goals and allow the rewards that way they don't really set you back. Say instead of losing 5lbs and getting a reward make it 10, or 15. Or go out and buy yourself some new clothes instead of rewarding with food?
-
Well, it would seem pretty simple to me that you would want to reduce calories I'd say drop them 80-100 a day it'll make for slow drawn out results but if you stay with it and don't cheat you'll definitely get results. Then once you've plateaued at this caloric intake add a 20 minute walk into your day somewhere.

Hello there! Welcome to MFP!

Carbs will give you a more filled out and full look carb depleted diets tend to give people an overall flat body tone. Not to mention carbs are essential to energy and without them you'll more than likely not feel the best throughout the day. They also keep you fuller stomach wise and contrary to popular belief carbs are…

There ya go best of luck to you! Tracking you're daily calories is the number one step in dieting, you can do it!!
-
Hell yea thats great good job!! And its no trick I just got done telling someone else losing weight is 80% diet 20% exercise once you actually start counting what you put into your body everyday the pounds will honestly fly off, keep it up!!
-
Using this website effectively and consistently and keeping yourself limited to the amount of calories you need to be in a deficit will make your results come faster than any kind of exercise ever could. I always say cardio and exercise of any sort can never balance out a terrible diet. When losing weight I'd say its about…

I'm not personally but I have 3 or 4 buddies that are and a big down side I've seen is that PT's are a dime a dozen these days. Not to mention if I remember correctly my buddy paid about 4 grand for his schooling for it. I would of honestly done something along these lines but the money just isn't there unless you're…

That's why I absolutely LOVE MFP anytime I'm having a down day I can come on here make a post and the positive feedback comes in flocks. It's truly an awesome thing!

Agreed it is for everyone once you actually track everything being put into your mouth it can be quite shocking for most. Don't let that deter you though continue to log, use some of the features they provide to make logging easier like copying from previous days or how it remembers certain foods you eat often at certain…
-
That was a wonderful suggestion from your dietician, now begin the process of tracking EVERYTHING you're eating day to day and as you go make small adjustments and be sure to always hit your daily goals. You will be amazed at how far it will all go, that paired with all the help and support on MFP and your sure to have one…

Tough call because really all the calorie burns and after burns are subjective to the person doing the cardio. Obviously it will differ from person to person, one thing I can tell you for sure though is do not listen to what a machine tells you you're burning calorie wise. If that were the case my cardio sessions everyday…

First thing in the morning wearing nothing right after you've used the bathroom. This is when you'll receive the most accurate body weight you can get!
-
Thats awesome, to be honest we have much in common I began dieting/cardio when I was 18 as well and now 3 years later I've dieted down from 255 to 170 and then last winter had a bulking phase in order to put on some good weight (muscle) and then went through a cut last spring to show off all the new added muscle. I promise…
-
I go through the same process last year going from my cut to my bulk was probably one of the hardest things I had to after weighing so much one point in my life and getting down to so little. You just need to continually remind yourself that you have a structured plan and you accept the fact that during the bulk you put on…

Like the attitude it's all about taking baby steps when going through a weight loss. You have to crawl before you can walk and so on, so continue to set your goals in small increments and I'm sure you'll be sharing a significant success story of your own in not very long! Best of luck!
-
I make something similar to this without the rice crisps and its delicious! I'm sure this is too.
-
Yes I do, everyday in fact and the loads of sugar part is news to me. It's one of the cleanest forms of protein you can possibly get. I'd recommend 100% gold standard whey. Body building.com usually has them at the lowest price and a ton of flavors.
-
Well you've definitely come to the right place! Set some solid goals leading up to your vacation and with the help and support of other MFP users I'm sure you'll be able to achieve them and more!
-
I'd go with Deadlifts, Squats, and Incline Dumbbell Presses (Because with inclines you'll be hitting some front delts as well ;) )
-
Well you've both come to the right place MFP is all about a supporting community just out to help one another! I can always find someone to give me a little boost on a down day. Whatever you need don't hesitate to ask everybody can you use a good kick in the *kitten* every now and then. So get out there and achieve those…

Yes eating late at night or even right before bed will have no affect at all on your weight in the morning. Im assuming you mean as apposed to eating earlier in the evening, not before bed.
