Hi there! Feel free to add me. Currently at 192.6 lbs, wanting to get down to 130 lbs.

I've been thinking of trying OT out.

I like So Delicious Coconut Creamer. It's dairy-free and only 10 cals per tablespoon for the Original flavor. If you want flavored, the lowest cal options I've seen are Califia Farms Almond Milk Creamers in Hazelnut, Pecan Caramel, or Vanilla (15 cals per serving). Their Original unsweetened one is only 10 cals too.

If something is important enough to you, you'll make it happen. If you don't have the time to work out, you can start by being very mindful of what you eat. Anytime you have a little extra time, go for a walk. Start small. Good luck!

Glad to know there are so many of us on here with similar starting weights and UGW's!

Your appetite will likely decrease greatly as you lose weight and just eat less calories in general.

Mmm this thread is making me HUNGRY! And it all sounds like dessert. Can't wait to start shopping for goodies to add to oatmeal.

Adding you all!

Just recently got back into MFP after years off the wagon. My goal is 1210 a day. If you want to be friends, feel free to add me! Doing my best right now to stay within my cals.

I used to eat Quest Bars (among other protein bars) ALL THE TIME. But I actually felt like they didn't agree with me. They always felt so heavy, and left me feeling really full afterwards. They just feel like a brick in my stomach! I switched up my protein to having more lean chicken breast, brown rice protein powder, or…

Don't let people like that get to you. Most people take weightloss personally because so many people are dealing with the struggle. So everyone thinks their way is the right way. What everyone needs to realize is there are many methods that work for people. It's about doing what's right for you! Keep your head high.…

Can't wait for the men's snowboarding halfpipe today! :drinker: One of my very favorite events!
-
Watching the speed skating right now. So inspiring! These guys have amazing bodies.
-
Watching all this figure skating has me lusting for the rink! I used to ice skate as a kid, and get on the ice maybe once a year. But this Olympics it has me super inspired to get back out there just for the exercise.
-
Who is getting ready to watch the opening ceremony? Are you doing anything special? I'm having a friend over, and we're having beer and pizza and snacks, and dressing up in our team gear. My friend competes for Australia, so at during the Olympics I become an honorary Aussie.

Either once a week or once every other week... Try to do it weekly but sometimes I have too much other laundry to do!

I drink a meal replacement shake called Garden of Life RAW Meal, which is vegan and organic, and has 100% of daily iron in each serving. I'll usually have 1/2 a serving and have it as a snack, not have it as a meal replacement shake. It's loaded with nutrition!

The Walking Dead and New Girl.

That stinks! Yes, I live in the US and we have a great Target near me.
-
One of my friends does it, and she LOVES it! Her body looks great too. I've done a few of the workouts and they were good for toning.
-
I stayed up til about 2:30am last night watching the men's snowboarding slopestyle qualifiers live. Very sleepy this morning, but I don't care. I live for this time every 2 years. Can't wait for the figure skating live this morning!
-
Glad there are others that love the Olympics as much as I do! I'm so excited. For those of you who live in the US and have cable, NBC made an app that is going to show a lot of the events live, even when their TV stations aren't. It's called NBC Live Extra. Check it out if you want to be sure to catch all the events!…

Another vote for Garden of Life's RAW Meal.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! And for the record, I'm not eating a "low carb diet". I still eat plenty of carbs, but would prefer to get more protein in without all the carbs.
-
Yoga and biking.

You COULD just tell him you're trying to eat healthy, and the chocolate croissants are delicious and you love them and appreciate the thought that goes into it, but you just can't have them anymore. What I would do is ask that instead of buying you a croissant, he pay it forward, and pays for a croissant for the next…

Never forget about the library! Mine is a great resource for workout DVDs and books on eating healthy for cheap.
-
If you're super rich, why not try it? If not... Well then there are much cheaper (and healthier) alternatives. I have RAW Meal powder if I feel like having a meal replacement shake.
-
I've matched with a friend of a friend who is NOT single, and also matched with my old boss. Awkward.
