I am in. I am a almost 2 yr post op gastric bypass patient. I've lost over 100 lbs but haven't been following protocol lately like I should. I bought the book " The 5 Day Pouch Test" and started today. I weigh 128.8 and would like to be at 120 by the time I go on a cruise to the Bahamas with my daughter on May 30th.

Your body can process up to 25/g at a time per hour. Anything over that it just eliminated and not absorbed.

I did Jenny Craig and the food was good but it was expensive. You have to buy their food and then spend another additional 40 dollars or more at the grocery store for the other food. It didn't teach me to eat correctly though. I recommend Weight Watchers.

I'm in. I need a challenge. Going on a cruise in May.

It took me about 2 weeks of logging every thing I ate to figure out at what calorie intake causes me to lose and which one helps me to maintain. I think you have to experiment with it and BE HONEST and log everything. I know for a fact if I eat less than 1400/day I lose and if I hit 1400/day, I maintain. It's great peace…

First order of business........ don't get down or criticize yourself!! That's instant sabotage!! Just get on there everyday and you will slowly see that you are able to do more each week. The important part is being consistent!! Stay on the message boards and when you feel weak and discouraged, let everyone know so they…

I've never eaten back my exercise calories even when I was on Weight Watchers(they call them activity points). This is just my opinion, not based on fact but I don't think you should eat them. Many times we overestimate the activity intensity and it might give us more calories back than it should. If you are in weight loss…

All the time! And I live in Texas. I have a little heater running in my office all day. I used to always be hot and always sweating. I'd much rather be like this!! I can wear solid color shirts in all kinds of fabrics now and don't have to worry about underarm sweating!! LOVE IT!!!!!

Tuna pouches, string cheese, steak, chicken. I'm a post gastric bypass patient so I have to eat a lot of protein. I eat 2--3 tuna pouches every day. I also have pasteurized egg whites that I add to recipes and liquids. They have no taste or smell. And of course, protein shakes.

I love American Eagle bootcut jeans. They are very low rise though, so if you don't like low rise you won't like these. They come in the different lengths also, which I need because I'm 5'1". They are on sale right now for 35.00. I also like Old Navy Diva jeans in both bootcut and skinny styles and they are on sale for…

I'll join in. My challenge is consistent exercise. I have all the tools I need at home, but just can't get and stay motivated. I need some accountability!!!

Thank you! It feels great. I have major trouble eating bread. Thank goodness. I can eat it if it's toasted, but not if it's soft. Can't eat flour tortillas or chips. But that is just fine with me. I love being able to go to a restaurant and not even be tempted by the bread or chip basket.

I have had gastric bypass and am required to eat at least 85 g of protein a day. My doctor said that our bodies can only process around 26g at a time and anything over that is just disposed of by the body. You aren't eating enough calories though, especially if you are working out. I'd shoot for at least 1200 a day.

Way to go!!!!! Keep up the good work! You look great!!
