I have a cheat day once a week and I will lose 2-4lbs each week still. The point of a cheat day is to allow for some indulgence but not stuff your face. This day helps me stay focused for my week.

Drinking plenty of water. Especially if you are staying more active. I try to drink about 100oz a day. Your body needs it and it will also help you with overeating. I have a bottle that holds 25oz and it has a dial that helps me track how much I am drinking. Uou could also keep water bottles in your fridge and number them.
