  • I'd like to play. My goal is to get to my healthy weight ,148, by June. This will be an excellent intermediate goal. Thanks for starting this thread. I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you in April. SW: 163 CW: 163 GW for April:158 UGW: 148
  • Starting a hybrid Chalean Extreme program today. I know there are some of you out there starting up a New Year program, so join in or let me know if you already have a support group going so I can join you.
  • Finished week 2 of phase three Friday and now we're on to the last two weeks of phase three. There were ten of us that started out as a group and we're now down to 5. Most of us also belong to a Biggest Loser group that had our Finale Friday. Four out of our five have lost weight since we began JMBR back in September. So,…
  • Finishing up week 2 of phase three today and tomorrow. Can't say I'll miss workouts 9 and 10. I've been working out with a group from our school and Christmas break starts next week. That means we'll have to move to a new location and time to finish the last two weeks of phase three. It will be interesting to see how many…
  • Had my Body Fat measured in a bod pod yesterday. The good news is I've lost 13 pounds since starting JMBR. The bad news is my body fat hasn't changed much. I have another bod pod scheduled for 2 January. I hope to report good news for weight loss and body fat after the new year. I'm hoping for at least 5 more pounds and 2%…
  • Looked at CE Burn 1,2,3, Recharge, Burn It Off and Burn Intervals yesterday. Looking forward to starting these again on the New Year. :drinker: Finishing up Body Revolution this month. It is getting tough and a little ballistic for me. Recall CE being a little easier on my knees than JMBR. Anyway, I'm anxious to Go Heavy…
  • Starting Phase Three today. Reviewed workouts 9&10 yesterday and it looks like Jillian has kicked it up a notch again. Also looked at cardio 3 and she says it is one of the most difficult cardio workouts she has put together. Hope my group is up for this. :ohwell: It can't be worse than P90X or Insanity.
  • I just got my CE CDs out again today. Planning to start in Jan as well. I  CE. Would love to be involved in a thread of CEers that want to begin 2013 with a bang. Go heavy or go home as Chelene would say. Hope to hear from you in Jan.
  • My group took most of the Thanksgiving week off from JMBR but we start up again today with the last week for phase 2. Workout 7 today seems to be the most difficult one for me so far. Only two more times for seven and we move on to phase 3. What is in store for us in phase 3 ???? We should finish workouts 9&10 before…
  • I'm on track to finish JMBR by the end of the year and I also have CE. I'm thinking of doing CE again in January so if you guys are still around in January I'd like to join in. I love CE - Go Heavy or Go Home:laugh:
  • The group I'm doing JMBR with are mostly teachers and this week is conference/Thanksgiving week. So, their teaching schedules are messed up and that disrupts our workout schedule. We've decided to do JMBR or whatever we can on our own this week then resume JMBR back with workouts 7&8 next week. We are still on schedule to…
  • Thanks for all of your inputs. I'm going to try water aerobics and stationary bike as substitutes for some of the exercises I do. What really concerns me is I don't want to give up some things I do like bowling, softball and aerobics. I guess I'm looking for a miracle cure to get rid of the pain that stops me from playing…
  • You still may finish phase two by the end of the year. What a great way to finish off the year and start a new year:happy: Thanks for your support.
  • Congrats on finishing phase one:happy: So, what were the results??? Can you share ? Pounds____? Inches___? Body Fat__? Did you follow the diet plan or just the workouts? Curious about the details and would love to hear more.
  • Starting week 3 of phase 2 today with workout 7. I’ve been doing JMBR with a group of 10 people but today I’m on my own as the school we use is closed for Veteran’s Day. I like the workouts so far. I have to accommodate for some of the bouncy stuff because of arthritis in my knees. However, I still feel challenged without…
  • Weighed in with my Biggest Loser Group and lost .08 pounds this week. I’ve been great about JMBR workouts this week but not so good with my diet. However, a loss is good. Also my BF is heading the right direction. Love to hear how it is going with some of you JMBRers out there.
  • Haven't heard from anybody this week yet? How's it going? Hope you exercise your vote today!!! Week 6 for JMBR is going well for me and my group. My group actually thinks Cardio 2 is easier for them than cardio 1. They like the idea of 30 second bursts instead of a full minute. Like Jillian says, "you can do anything for…
  • Weighed in with my Biggest Loser Group this morning. Only lost 0.4 pounds this week but I know why. I’ve got to quit cheating on the weekends with my diet. Two good things happened this week. First, I got (1 of 3) euflexxa shots in my knees for my arthritis. Second , we started phase two of JMBR. Look out JMBR phase two.…
  • According to your banner you've already completed JMBR once. How did you do the first time? Did you lose weight? Is it easier the second time around? You obviously like it if you're doing round two - give us rookies some insight. Thanks!!
  • Just finished phase one Saturday. Starting phase two on Monday. I've reviewed workouts 5&6 and I fell like I can do most of the exercises without accommodations. I'm a little concerned that cardio 2 is too balistic. Hopefully, the 30 second exercises will not be so bad. " You can do anything for 30 seconds", Jillian…
  • Just weighed in with my biggest loser group today. Only lost one pound this week. Hey, it is a loss and I know why I didn’t lose as much as in previous weeks. It was not because of JMBR workouts – I have kept on schedule from the day I started 4 weeks ago with the workouts. My problem this week was pushing away from the…
  • Great to see all of you joining our finish JMBR thread. I’m on track to finish Phase One by this Saturday. We have a group of about 10 of us doing this together. We are all excited about moving on to phase two. The members of my group are also in a biggest loser group at the school district we work in. I think I can say…
  • My birthday is in the middle of January and I'm hoping JMBR is going to get me to my goal by then as well. I'm 17 pounds away from my goal right now and would like to do more by mid January. So, we are really in the same boat here. Hope we can both share good news on this thread.
  • I've lost a total of 12 pounds so far since I've started JMBR. Monday will actually be the start of week 4 for the regular JMBR but I did do the JMBR quick start the week before the 1st of October. So far I'm still motivated by the exercise and I haven't injured myself. The hard part for me is the diet. I can't follow…
  • I find I need the rest days to recover. It could be just my age but I think I'd try to accelerate phase one by doing only one week of workouts 1 & 2 instead of two weeks. If that doesn't catch you up then do the same kind of thing for week 3. Also, there is nothing magic about finishing on 31 December. So what if you…
  • Starting week 3 today with JMBR Workout 3 for the first time. Although I had a set back on week two, (gained 3 pounds), this week I lost 1. Overall I have lost 9 pounds, if I count the week I did the quick start before 1 October. Anyway, I'm still liking JMBR:heart: I find it kinder and gentler than p90X or Insanity. It is…
  • Good to have you on board.. I know there are more JMBR out there, hopefully they'll join us soon. The idea is to finish all three phases of JMBR by the end of the year. That pretty much means Phase 1 done by the end of October, phase 2 in November and Phase 3 in December. I'm thinking if we do this we'll be in great shape…
  • Come on JMBR fans. I know you're out there. Lets help each other get through JMBR in the next 83 days. You know you want to!!! What a great way to start the new year than already be in JMBR shape on day one of 2013. Join us and lets do this:smile: Stormy
  • I just saw this advice from Jillian Michaels. She's a bit harsh at times but if you can handle hard hard truth she has some good points. http://www.everydayhealth.com/weight/i-am-exercising-and-not-seeing-results-what-am-i-doing-wrong.aspx?xid=nl_EverydayHealthDietandNutrition_20121%20%20002
  • BF% is an important BENCHMARK measurement for me too. IMO all measurement is imprecise so the method (scale, bod pod, formulas) is less important the consistency (time, conditions). Personally I use a tanita scale in the athlete mode once a week in the morning when I first get up. The number is less important to me than…
