People told me that they saw my initial weight loss in my face. I noticed it in my waist because the way my pants felt. If I learned anything from my 3 years/93 lb loss, is one thing - we can't control where we want to lose weight.

This!! Precisely my point. I lost 40LBS on 1500 calorie diet. After moving to raw fruits and veggies and increasing my calories to 2000 daily, I lost additional 50. Go figure!! :)

Unfortunately you don't have a choice what part of the body you want to shrink in size. It is not in your control. If I can offer any word of advise, stick to a diet and exercise and eventually you will win.

NO, these things don't work. The feeling of sweaty and compressed skin gives you a perception your waist is smaller. In reality it will be back to it's original state within minutes.
