When I started originally, I had to stay away. I could not to the "in moderation" thing. Eventually, I have learned to do it, but it is not easy. You have to do what works best for you. Good Luck!:flowerforyou:

I enjoy the WII Fit. I like the yoga and I notice my overall balance seems to be good when I use it regularly. Good luck!:flowerforyou:

I seem to be in the exact place as you! I have had a very difficult time after losing my first 50. Are we sabotaging ourselves? I hope someone helps with this that has gone through it. We cannot be the only two strange people out there. :flowerforyou:

That sounds fantastic and I will definitely be giving it a try.:drinker: :flowerforyou:

If you have a doctor that you see regularly, they usually are very willing for you to come in and weigh. Good luck.:flowerforyou:

I personally don't believe in this type of diet. They do not teach you to eat healthy every day and that is why we are obese. As far as removing toxins in the body, that is why you have a liver and other organs. According to Dr. Oz, they are all you need to remove toxins. Drinking a lot of water helps these organs remove…

Potassium has nothing to do with weight loss, but keeping your body healthy. You get potassium from various foods, such as spinach, milk, etc. If you suffer cramps, you could be low on potassium. It is a very important nutrient for your body and you should get as close to the recommended amount as possible. Good…

I do take a calcium supplement (I'm 49) and a D with it because they work well together. If you do decide to take the calcium, don't take it with regular vitamins because the calcium will not be absorbed. I take my multi in the morning and my calcium & D at lunch. Good Luck. :flowerforyou:

OMG, YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time a negative thought comes into your head, remember what I have told you. If you have someone that is supportive, have them tell you often and without asking from you how great you look (my husband is always commenting on how "skinny" I am, but I'm not there yet…

I have serious problems with this issue. I chew a lot of gum, but even that gets tiring. I don't have any other answers besides drinking a lot of water to make myself so full I don't want anything.:noway: Good luck on your journey.:drinker:

I do because I was told by my doctor that liquid is liquid as long as it is not sugar loaded.:flowerforyou:

What a great post! I, too, think a lot of negative things about myself. So here goes. . . 1. I received several reading awards as an elementary student. 2. I completed my California Profency Exam the same year I was supposed to graduate high school (after having a child at the age of 16). 3. I graduated college with…

Welcome Betty. I too work in an office all day. Just remember to take it slow initially. I started out at 230 and started changing my lifestyle slowly (too fast is overwhelming!). Make sure you make mini goals and achieve those as they are easier to do. Good luck on your journey!:flowerforyou:
-
I was 230 and now I'm 172. Nice steady pace! Even if you only lost one pound, you should be pleased with yourself because you continue the journey!:drinker: :flowerforyou:

Don't beat yourself up. Just take this journey one step at a time. Change one thing at a time so you don't become overwhelmed. It will happen - this is not a sprint, but a life-time marathon! It is so very much worth it, don't give up. Go slow and study and you will make it happen!:flowerforyou:

Are you breast feeding? I imagine running after a 2-year-old uses a lot of calories. I think you may be eating too few calories for the day. Try increasing your calories by 100 and see if that makes a difference. Good Luck.:flowerforyou:

Tara, I noticed you live in IL. If at all possible, go to Mayo Clinic. My husband, who has had many baffling medical illnesses, found relief there. You can go to their website and request an appointment. They are fantastic at discovering what is actually wrong with you. If you cannot get there, I'm sure there are other…

You need to eat more high-fiber foods. These fill you up. Some high fiber foods are pumkin (when spiced with pumpkin pie spice, sans crust, it is only about 50 calories per cup and it will fill you up like a meal. Research the high-fiber foods and you will be surprised. Good Luck.:flowerforyou:

You are not getting no where - you are helping your diabetic situation not get worse by exercising. The thyroid situation will get worked out and you will find your correct medication and your body will stabilize. How about your diet? Does it consist of mainly fruits, vegies, grains, etc.? Please don't let it get to you. Every scale is different; I don't care what anyone says. You have lost weight and that is wonderful! You know it because of your clothes and you should be very proud of yourself!!! I don't think in terms of weight - I think in terms of health. Are you healthier? Do you feel better about…

My thighs and stomach were my biggest as well when I first started. Mind you, when I started I was very lazy. But as I lost a little weight I also felt more energetic so I started to walk. I have mostly walked/jogged through my journey and my husband now :flowerforyou: is always telling me how my legs are getting skinny!…
