I'm 5'7, and my start weight was 171, and my goal is anywhere between 130 - 140. This depends on how difficult it is to maintain at 130. I've been 140 in the past and I was able to maintain that comfortably. I've been trying to tone up, and hope that the extra muscle will make maintaining it even easier. Feel free to…

I'd say Mexican food in general. If you do decide Italian though, I'd say skip the bread, have a small amount of pasta with a tomato based sauce, and a nice big salad before. :) good luck!

OOOH Sucking in your tummy! Ya I do that quite often. I hope that soon I won't need to anymore, if I can get my tummy toned so it's flat all the time.

I don't quite understand what you are talking about...

I love to grill it on the bbq, then let it marinate in some balsamic vinegar for a while. Then I'll just add those to burgers, sandwiches ect. Yum!

PIZZA! I had to cut it out completely, because when there's a pizza in front of me I lose all self control. There is NO way I could just have one slice, and at over 200 cals per slice, I just have to say no.

you look WAY smaller than 190-something. Great job!

Try: Circ-dont think about it. You can find it on youtube, and I like most of Circ's songs.

I'll usually cut a small piece off, and throw the rest away so I don't get tempted. Also, often I'll put it away somewhere and tell myself that if I still want it in an hour, I can have it. 90% of the time I forget about it. Out of sight, out of mind.

It's my understanding that MFP includes the 500 calorie deficit in the calorie allowance. So if your calorie intake requirement is 2150, then 2650 is the amount of calories you would need to eat to just maintain.

Awesome, thanks for all of your help! I hope most of it stays off due to the fact I'm sure my stomach has shrunk somewhat. Still not hungry, I have to make myself eat.

I just found this website a few weeks ago, and it really helps with the visualizations. Everything is shown is equal to 200 calories of that food, so it's really interesting to see the different serving sizes of healthy and unhealthy foods. http://www.caloriegallery.com/foods/calories-in-penne-pasta-cooked.htm Good luck!!

Hey, welcome to MFP! I'm 28, and looking to lose about the same amount of weight as you! Feel free to add me as a friend :)

If it's in a negative number, that means she's gone over by 7 grams, not the other way around.

Avocado, strawberries and apples, SO GOOD!

I've ordered a whole small pizza from Dominos with veggies and no cheese, and the entire pizza was 450 calories. I'd figure that roughly 650 or so would be about right for a medium pizza with pepperoni. check out the Dominos website, there's a calculator on there.

I'd just up your activity level to "active" and that should take care of it.

A favorite of mine: 1/2 frozen Banana 1/2 cup chocolate soy milk 1/2 cup light soy milk 1 tbsp peanut butter (about 250 calories) Blend this, and it gives you the fruit from the banana, protein from the peanut butter, and keeps you full for a couple of hours. Another favorite of mine which is really low in calories: hand…

On days when I am rushing around and I have no time to get the proper nutrition, I usually will make green smoothies in the morning or after work. They usually consist of spinach, carrots, pineapple and grapes. Make sure to blend it enough, otherwise the consistency might be a turn off. It tastes great though! You totally…

I agree with the posters of suggesting Spaghetti Squash. It's really quite tasty, and if you add sauce, mix it up and bake with a little sprinkle of cheese for about 10 minutes, it's amazing! Another option is trying these yam noodles from specialty section of some stores. They come packed in liquid, and I think have under…

I have to disagree with the statement that meat and dairy are good for you. I've been a vegetarian for only about 5 months now, but I already notice a huge difference in how I feel. I still have dairy products once in a while, and my tip about the yogurt is to get unsweetened yogurt and put it on some fruit, this is a…

I love this show! It's actually filmed here in Vancouver, my hometown, and both Tommy Europe and Nadine Bowman work out at the gym where I see my personal trainer. It's definitely motivation! You can find some full episodes (in 10 minute chunks) on the website:…
