Great job! It'll all be worthwhile when you hit your goal weight!
-
Congratulations - what a great job!
-
You look fantastic - congratulations!

Can't resist cheerleading for 30DS; it was a miracle, more or less, for me! I used to do it in tandem with cardio, and still do it occasionally with cardio and pilates. The woman knows her stuff!

Yep, breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper! And it is possible, I've just hit my goal weight today after 30 years of being overweight/eating huge portions/drinking enough wine to float a battleship. But you do have to be willing to change; cut out all of the crap from your diet, but allow…

o0o0o0o0o0o <-- that's the sound of my mind boggling!

lol! Well far be it from me to generalise ;-)

Wow, amazing that people just don't think first! Actually I don't even know why people have to comment on physical appearance so much - whatever happened to 'She's great at her job' or 'She's the one with talent for painting' etc.

Heh, I've said it before on here but the people who say 'Oh you skinny minny'/'You don't need to lose any more weight'/'Don't get anorexic' make me so mad! They have no idea what it's like for your weight to affect your confidence; and I get annoyed at myself for saying 'Oh, I'm just in training - the weight loss is…

I don't like the saying either, and I don't think 'thin' is anything to aspire to. Healthy, slim, fit are all fine but thin comes with all kinds of baggage, none of which I find particularly positive. But that's just me :-)

Oh I do love talking oatmeal :-) and some of these suggestions sound fantastic! I soak mine overnight in 150ml semi-skimmed milk, then cook, and add honey and some sort of cold stewed fruit (apples, rhubarb) I keep meaning to add cinnamon but always forget. I'm intrigued by these chia seeds, so might try to get hold of…

You look fantastic - what a difference in the pose!

In the summer months I tend to have muesli, but now it's getting colder I have porridge, like most people here, a big dollop of honey and some kind of stewed fruit (rhubarb, apples) Also have a glass of orange juice since Vitamin C helps the body absorb the iron from the cereal, apparently - and of course a cup of tea! I…

So I reached 140.8lbs this morning, after 6 months and 12 days :-) And while my goal was to lose 40lbs, to get to 140, I've decided that I've lost enough weight now since it was uncomfortable to lay down in the bath this morning thanks to my protruding vertebrae! My goal now is to maintain my weight and fitness, and take…

I don't have to 'hoist' myself out of the bath any more - when I'm getting out I can actually feel how much lighter I am. Weird huh!

You're doing really well; you can definitely see the difference in your face and waist. Keep at it!

Wow, what a great job - you look fantastic!

Congrats - great job. As John Locke says on your shirt 'Don't tell me what I can't do!' :)

Hello and welcome! You'll find plenty of advice and loads of inspiration on here - good luck!

I try to fit in 30 mins (a beginners Pilates DVD) every day, more - as someone else said - as a stress buster than anything. If I don't make it to the gym then I do a further 30 minute DVD of more intense Pilates. Every little helps!

Groan - are you some kind of eggspert? No I've not been taking any supplements (don't really need to as I get a balanced diet) I think it might just be tiredness as I also had a headache today - and no eggs.
-
You look amazing - well done!

Hey I've found some of the DVDs quite difficult to get hold of for Region 2. Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred is on Amazon UK, so might be worth trying something like that - or the 10 minute series, or Pilates for Dummies, all of which are reasonably priced - in case exercising at home turns out to not be your thing. Good…

Hey - good luck! You can do it!

I've been on HBC for the best part of 20 years and had no problems losing weight (not that they made me put on weight either) In my experience, the Pill isn't smart enough to overcome good diet and exercise which leads to weight loss :-) Good luck!
-
Thank you :-) I log 30 Day Shred as 'Circuit Training'
-
Thanks Molly; you have been a real support over these past few months - thank you!

Amazing job - you look fantastic!

Hi guys and thank you for your kind words :-) 30 Day Shred is a circuit training DVD, hosted by Jillian Michaels of Biggest Loser US fame. It was ideal for me since it has 3 levels, which means you can build up your stamina rather than having to bust a gut right out of the stalls, and because it's only 30 minutes long (I…
