  • Hm. It's probably safest to add the oil separately, at any rate. Better to overestimate than underestimate.
  • Cool. Thanks, guys! savethecat, that cartoon in your signature is adorable.
  • That happens to me every time I go on vacation. Don't worry, it'll be back down within a week most likely.
  • Piercings! I'm getting my lip done when I get to 163 pounds, I'm thinking about a three-point spiral for my ear when I get to 135, and my bellybutton pierced and a pair of expensive jeans whenever I get to something I'm happy with. I'm not married to a number there. I'm not really putting time limits on anything, just…
  • Seconded! I know if I eat a crappy meal, my body will feel awful when I exercise, and my asthma will be way worse. Did you eat anything fried? That's what does it for me. Edited to add the quote I was seconding.
  • It means "This takes the cake" basically, or so I glean. Also, a British biscuit is an American cookie, in case you weren't familiar.
  • Thanks for the info! Congrats on your success!
  • Hey, I was also thinking of using a spiral like that as a reward! It looks amazing on you. I'm curious, did you get all three piercings at that day and thread the jewelry through right away? I was looking into it and couldn't find any answer.
  • Planning to start tonight!
  • I'm not sure if I'll get quite there, but I'm gonna give it a shot! SW - 194.8 lbs (Monday August 1) Week 1 - xxx lbs (Monday August 8) Week 2 - xxx lbs (Monday August 15) Week 3 - xxx lbs (Monday August 22) Week 4 - xxx lbs (Monday August 29) Total lost - xx lbs (Thursday September 1)
  • Right-click and choose view. You'll see the whole image. OP, you look awesome! There's definitely a difference, especially in the—ahem—backside.
  • I read it doesn't matter when you eat in relation to when you sleep. Your body can't tell.
  • There's lactose-free milk, as well as almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, etc. Ice cream made with almond milk is just as delicious as dairy ice cream, in my opinion. And if you're sensitive about taste, try going for the chocolate options (e.g. chocolate soy pudding) because that'll cover it up most of the time. There are…
  • Your post is really a bit unclear then, imho. You could have said all of those things without being a personal trainer, including that you motivate people to lose weight. Also, at one point you specifically mention posting threads. You might want to clarify, because people wasting your time and energy when it comes to…
  • Yup, you have your views, and I have mine. Mine differ from yours, which is why I offered a response. With all due respect, nothing you said indicated to me that you weren't talking about people on this site. I had no way of knowing you were a trainer. But as a trainer, people kind of pay you to be tough, don't they?…
  • I don't disagree with what you've said in theory, but there's a certain amount of hostility in the way you've said it which probably *isn't* going to appeal to or motivate those with these particular issues—just the people who, like you, are annoyed by them. If you're bothered by "whining," maybe don't visit those…
  • Yeah, same thing happened to me. I started eating right and then I started exercising, and exercise was way more enjoyable than I remembered. And then I ate poorly one day and tried to exercise still, and it was like I never did anything at all and was as out of shape as when I started. It makes a big difference!
