Well... I don't know. Recently, I went on vacation, and when I came back, I'd lost about two pounds. I feel I made decent decisions on vacation and did a lot of walking, but I think the main contributor to this was that prior to the vacation, I'd been eating healthy, but my body was, I assume, retaining water. I rarely…

It doesn't really matter, but the Shred involves a bunch of jumping around, so keep that in mind in terms of food. Personally, I'd either wait a bit after eating or eat after I did it.

I've taken vitamins on and off, but the only thing I make sure to do right now is put nutritional yeast in and on things for the B12.

It's fairly easy to eat vegetarian, in my experience. Just try not to fall into the trap of relying too heavily on processed meat substitutes or junk food, which is often vegetarian to begin with. Is there something specific you were curious about?

Try not to be discouraged by weekly losses. Look at the big picture—monthly, even. I find that I will maintain the same weight for a few weeks and then drop two pounds suddenly in the matter of a day or two. That's just how I lose weight. Now, that's too quick to gain muscle, but I'll tell you what it's not too quick for:…

Little late joining, but I'm striving for a ten pound loss by Christmas.

Many people find they plateau if they attempt to eat 1200 (or whatever) calories for an extended period of time as their body weight drops. Bodies are stubborn. I think MFP also wants to gradually ease you toward eating maintenance calories when you get to your goal weight.

Well, it's officially Christmas, and I'm still 169.4, but I'm pretty pleased about that all-in-all.
-
Sorry about missing last week. I was 171.6. I'm 169.4 this week.

As far as I've read (so take that as you will), there's absolutely no difference between the way your body deals with the calories you consume at night versus the ones you consume during the day. They don't "sit there," but rather do the same thing they would normally. So if you like to snack at night, I—and I suspect many…

Patience Caprice. Yes, I have patience. Yes, I'll be patient. Yes, I've heard that joke before. I've heard all the jokes before. All the jokes.

I was 178.6 yesterday.

Still 180 this week.

Yes. Yes, I would.

This is another really good point. If you're wearing your hair up, it can't shed like it does when it's down, so you'll see more of a loss when you take it out and comb it.
-
Does your hair actually LOOK thinner? I said on a thread earlier, there are times of the year when a person sheds more hair than other times. Autumn is quite frequently that time, for myself, my mother, and apparently a lot of people around MFP. I lose so much hair in the fall it's a wonder I have any left, but I do and…

Your hair naturally has times of the year that it sheds more. That's totally normal. Autumn is also that time for me. Make sure there's enough good fats in your diet. Take a regular vitamin. That's all your hair needs. Losing a lot of hair in the fall is completely normal most of the time. However, if you feel your hair is…

Well, here's hoping you find a lady willing to take care of things you can take care of on your own with an alarm clock.

Alright, that's a bit unreasonable. Being scared of undoing hard work is perfectly normal. She just wants some extra reassurance. Also, I think you probably mean psychological, not physiological. OP, it's not going to mess you up. Do it if you want. It'll be fine.
