I started working out about a month after my c-section. By working out, I mean walking. Lol. By the time my son was five months I was trying to do P90X. I told myself I was fine. But there would be days that I really thought my incision would just rip back open. I'm nine months postpartum and I do it all but occasionally I…

I had the same thing with P90X. I realized I was just doing Kenpo & Cardio. I suggest that you just pick out the workouts you like to do and make a sort of hybrid. I do a mix of Turbo Jam, Insanity, EA Active (for the Wii), and P90X. Hope you find something that works for you :) Have fun!

Congrats! You can see a difference :) But I know what you mean, I can never tell either. Again, good job!!

I'm not even in the overweight section of my BMI yet and I am hearing it. Sometimes I think it is shock for people. I was like starting to get close to three hundred right after my pregnancy. Everyone was SO used to seeing me eat, and eat a lot. I think now it's just them trying to get used to the woman I am now. Or, if…

I see a difference! You are doing a great job. Don't let anything get you down. You are making an amazing change for the better :)

Eat at least a portion of them, if you are not hungry enough to eat them all.

What amazing results. You should be so incredibly proud of yourself. You look great! Keep up the hard work (because clearly it is paying off, lol)

I use a heart rate monitor and then go the the "create exercise" part so I can manually add the calories. Otherwise you could do "circuit training" but I highly suggest getting a heart rate monitor. And enjoy! I'm on week two and loving it :)

First, I try to drink some water and then find something that can distract me. If that doesn't work I try to chew some cinnamon gum. The little spicy flavor satisfies me just enough.

Love the topic title. A fellow overeating here. Welcome, again, Rae. Add me if you'd like. You can help me rid the chub too.

I agree that you look like you've lost more than 30lbs. CONGRATS :)

Congrats. That is amazing :) I can't wait to see the 1 either. You give me hope. I hope you continue to see amazing results!!

Good luck :) I'll send you a request if you want any motivation along the way.

That is cool!!

I think this is difficult. I grew up in a house with a very restricted kitchen. There were no snacks. There was breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If we didn't like it, there were no other options. Twice a month we would go out to a restaurant or fast food. I had to clear my food choices with my mother and she set a limit on…

Thank you everyone :) Eleanorrachel -- I look at those pictures, and some others that were taken during and before my pregnancy, and I can't believe it's me either. I always looks so awkward and uncomfortable in my older pictures.

Thanks Jenks :)

Grrr, they won't post!

Thanks for posting this. I've been having problems with eating everything I should. I always eat at least 1,200 but i'm doing P90X and I am awful about eating even half of the calories I earn doing it. I'm going to work harder and doing this completely right :) Thanks again!!

Heck yess!!! I'm still afraid of the booty shorts. Wear yours with extreme amounts of pride. You deserve it!!

I use my heart rate monitor and then I go to "create exercise" to put it directly into my log. I think P90X is a hard one to just generally calculate. If you don't have a hrm, I highly suggest one. Have fun with P90X. I'm on week 3/day 3 today :)

I married into a culture of food. My husband is Mexican and his parents have food around all the time. Since I have started on this change, my mother-in-law is always asking me if I am going to eat more. If I am hungry. If I have enough on my plate. Always bringing food around that I used to gorge on. Then, telling me how…

My son is five months old. I am doing P90X and most of the dvds in that are about 55 minutes long. I wait until Aiden, my son, has his nap-time bottle. That gives me about an hour. Before, when he wouldn't be occupied for so long I was doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. High intensity for only 20-25 minutes. Great…

I love them. I drink the Body Fortress Chocolate kind from Walmart. I always have it after my workout. 2 cups one and one scoop of the powder. It's not the tastiest thing but my muscles are not as sore as they used to be. I also have a clif bar for breakfast. I'm terrible with breakfast foods so I just grab a protein bar…

Yummy, thanks for sharing!!!

I did the first two levels of it completely and lost about ten pounds. I did it pretty much every day. I really enjoyed it. Good luck :)

Hi, I know how you feel. I've had days since I started MFP where I have gone 1,000 calories over. Before I would have said, "Screw this! I already messed up. It's time for another cheeseburger." What I try to do now is think to myself that I always have tomorrow. I may have slipped up but I can work extra hard the next…

Regular sized clothing. Feeling secure and comfortable with myself. Not being awkward in social settings because i'm embarrassed about my weight. Knowing that I set a goal and made it (doing it the right way) :)

That would be cool. I live in Long Beach, CA area but when I did a zip code search it seemed like most that live near me don't log on. BOO!
