  • So...how did everyone do over the weekend?!?! I managed to get in workouts every day. Plan on doing day 4 tonight even though my legs still feel like jello.
  • I was contemplating doing the c25k along with 30 day shred but haven't done it yet. I'm hoping in the next few weeks (when baby falls into more of a schedule) I can incorporate both workouts into my day. How far into the c25k are you?
  • 30 Day Shred is a DVD from Jillian Michaels. All you need is the DVD and some small hand weights! There are 3 different levels and the workouts are only 20 minutes each. Short but very effective. Everyone seems to do it differently, but I personally spend 10 days on each level before moving on to the next.
  • Hi ladies, just wanted to stop by and see how everyone's doing... : )
  • I haven't been checking in, but I have done the workouts almost every day. I missed Saturday, though. Oh well, I'm not going to be hard on myself...after all, I am pregnant!! : D That and when I did 30 day shred the first time around, I took a few "rest days" here and there and I always felt like I could give it more on…
  • Heather- thanks for the ab info. I definitely want to keep up the ab work so any and all info is helpful. Atynk - I'm also planning a homebirth! This is my 5th baby and the previous 4 have been in a hospital. I've never had a completely natural childbirth, but I've come awfully close. With my 3rd delivery, I was only in…
  • Ab question...anyone here keep up an ab routine? What point did you stop or plan to? I have a great ab workout I do now that I'll continue with as long as my baby bump doesn't get in the way but not sure what to do after that. Anyone do planks or any other baby bulge friendly ab excersises later on? I've never kept up…
  • I just completed day 3. I'm doing it a little different this time, though. Instead of doing 10 days on each level I'm going to alternate a level each day. So today was level 3 and tomorrow will be back to level 1.
  • Better_Balance, I know so many friends/family members who have completely let themselves go just because they've entered the role of "mother". I don't come from a naturally "skinny" family so I definitely have to work hard to maintain a decent weight and level of fitness. And with 4 kids, it takes a tremendous amount of…
  • Congratulations! I just found out a week ago that I'm pregnant.
  • I'm in for round 2!! Just finished up the first round (missed a few days here and there) and lost over 13". I found I did a lot better being a part of a group that I had to "check in" with.
  • Oh, and I watched that documentary and thought it was fantastic! Thanks for letting me know about it.
  • smilegirl - I think it's so fun that you're not finding out the sex! We have found out with two of ours and have been surprised with two....we're choosing another surprise with this one. 911girl - hope you have success with the vbac. My friend had a succesful one a couple months ago, but my sister-in-law tried a couple…
  • Thanks! I'll check it out.
  • smilegirl - do you know what you're having? Thanks for the input on the homebirth/midwife! I appreciate any and all feedback. We still haven't told anyone except my sister-in-law and a friend of mine. Maybe over the 4th of July weekend we will since my entire family will be together. I got in touch with a local midwife…
  • Good morning, ladies! Has anyone had any experience with homebirths/midwives? This is baby #5 for me and I'm considering a homebirth for quite a few reasons. Still waiting to hear back from my prospective midwife, but I'd appreciate some feedback in the meantime if any of you have any!
  • Did my workout this morning!
  • Hey everyone! Just found out last week that I'm expecting again! I'd love to join this group and get some ideas on what others are doing to stay in shape while pregnant. I've always been able to stay within 25-30 lbs weight gain with my other pregnancies (this'll be baby #5 for us!) but I've never mainainted a good workout…
  • I did my workout this morning, however, I did level 1 since I wasn't quite feeling up to level 3. But, hey, at least I got in a solid workout, right?
  • Haven't been reporting in here...I skipped the workout over the weekend. I had no good reason except I just didn't feel up to it. However, Monday and today I was faithful in doing level 3. I also measured myself this morning and have lost 13 inches! I'm super happy about that, but also bummed because I'm not seeing the…
  • So, I didn't work out yesterday. I tried to get on the treadmill in the morning, but my thighs were burning so I quit after like 15 minutes. And then we had a crazy busy day meeting my new little niece  and running errands all day. This morning, though, I did level 2 and felt like I had a lot more control doing the…
  • I had some unexpected things pop up yesterday so I didn't get my workout in. However, I did Level 1 and most of Level 2 today. Missed the cardio/abs of circuit three due to little kiddos needing my attention. I'm not too upset about it, though, since level 2 is seriously kicking my butt.
  • Holy toledo, Batman, I'm shrinking!!!! I decided to take my measurements before starting day 11 and......drumroll please......I've lost a whopping 7.5 inches!!! Seriously, that's possible?! Guess so. The scale's not moving much yet, but as soon as the school year is done in 2 weeks (I homeschool our kids) I'm going to add…
  • Lol, I have to try to undo the damage of last weekend!
  • Today I had the crazy notion to do level 1 and level 2....sheesh, was that a good workout!
  • I'm baaack!!! I had to take 3 days off since we were out of town. I did do some manual labor, though, by cleaning out a storage shed. Lots of trips up and down stairs carrying bins/boxes. Just finished my 30DS workout and it feels good to be back to my routine. Now it's time to get back to the clean eating after a…
  • Did the workout and felt stronger than yesterday. I'm definitely noticing a difference in the way I look and how my clothes fit. Hoping I can still do the workout at least once this weekend while we are out of town. If not, we will be outdoors a lot so i'll try to go for lots of walks at least.

  • Oooh, I'm addicted to my scale. I weigh myself every morning and usually at night, too. I can tell a huge difference at night when I've made bad food choices throughout the day and seeing that reminder right before bed motivates me to make better choices the next day. Also, if I ignore my scale for days/weeks, my weight…
