IMHO, You need to eat back the calories that you gained from your exercise. Your body is staving because of the added exercise, which then it forces it to store the fat. Try it for a week. If it does not work, what have you lost?

Hey, I can't do theses either, so I do something different. I cross my arms and have them parallel with the ground. Like this http://www.menshealth.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/workout_center_exercise_gallery/cross-armbbellfrontsquata-male.jpg Works just as well, and does not kill my wrists. Paul

In my experience, it will cause injury if not done in stages. Start out slow and low mileage. Your calf muscles will light up! The most I would run in them was around 5 miles, but I have seen people doing very long runs with them. For me, it got to a point that I was sore and had pains, so I switched to Newtons. So far,…

I am doing it, but I don't think I am getting much out of it. I am on Fat Burn 1, but I have been running for about 6 years now, so I am in OK shape. I am hoping this program adds some meat to these bones. :) Paul

Don't see why not. My wife is doing the same program, but for women. (Which is kinda strange being that it says that a woman should lift like a man....so why have two books :) )

I just did my day one break in last night. I am a bit sore, so I ran 4 miles to work it off. I am sure the next workout will be interesting. I am not a fan of squats. ( don't have very good range of motion in my shoulder due to a surgery last year. ) I am not as sore as the first day of P90X, that was nuts! But with that…
