I've noticed the same thing. Even the chicken breast entries vary greatly. I'm starting to lose trust in the database and have to double check everything.

For $10 a month you get lots of cardio machines, cable weights, some free weights, and a locker room. There are no classes, no pool, no sauna, no towels. It's fantastic if you would be happy with those options. For where I live you can not beat $10 for a gym that offers what I want to use. It's definitely for your beginner…

OP is just asking about lower belly exercises vs side and upper. Ab exercises aren't pointless and I'm pretty sure you CAN "exercise" fat away.

Sounds like you need to take a rest day and do some longer stretches. Maybe even a good massage on your calf. My PT gave me a "slant board" which is a very nice gentle way of stretching out your calves. http://www.crookedhuman.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5d36c78e590628f110cf3b04927bcfbb/s/l/slantboard-wood.jpg

I just yawned reading this! I do it too on the treadmill, it's a lack of oxygen. Gotta work on breathing more.

I'm on week 4 day 3 of the C25K program. I've done it all on the treadmill so far. I know I need to get outside and I like the idea of pushing for day 3 to be an outside run. The weather here (VA) is miserable so there are few days where I could motivate myself to run outside. If it's not 1 million degrees and humid it's…

Yes the pizza and cupcakes are a little ridiculous. But for $10 a month how can one complain? I love it there (as much as one can love a gym...). We have tons of cardio machines, a circuit weight room, lots of cable weights and free weights. We also have showers and a scale in the locker room. Actually 2 one digital and…

You are definitely not eating enough for the amount of calories you are burning.

Heavy backpacks cause discomfort. To invest in such a long backpacking trip and then rent a backpack doesn't seem right. You should invest in a good backpack that fits you properly.

jogtracker is a great one for droid too.

She's tells you to do it everyday cause her DVDs promise a certain set of results. I think it's really just to back the whole sales pitch of the videos. Do it as much as you can but listen to your body. I think everyone should take a rest day. Don't get me wrong I like her DVDs and have a couple of them. But I don't do…

Jillian's yoga meltdown is not too intense. Also try Ripped in 30.

I just wish I could be one size at every store. At old navy I can range anywhere from XS to M in shirts or size 4 - size 12 in jeans!! Vanity sizing is what I like to call it. It's stupid and annoying.
-
You may be able to toggle the min down from 30?

Infographics are BS. They are beautiful and nice to look at but they are not factual.
-
Yes! I lost 40lbs and have kept it off for over a year.

It is worth the money if you are willing to follow through. I did the Medifast diet to get to a goal weight and lost 40 lbs and have kept it all off for over a year now. The food isn't great but there was enough for me to eat. It did change the way I think about eating, it helped shrink my stomach. It helped me think of…

Major fluctuations! I gain 3-5lbs and I crave the hell out of mac and cheese. It's what I gotta do.
-
Holy hell!?!? All three levels on the same day??? That's amazing!

30 day shred was a great place to start. Kicked my butt and then I moved onward and upward to other videos. You'll never see me doing insanity or anything with such a monetary commitment. Jillian DVDs are usually under $10 and my gym costs $10 a month.

Love me some Jillian Michaels DVDs. I really need someone to yell at me to keep pushing.
-
Me too!! These last couple pounds have been a PAIN IN THE ***!!! 1 year wedding anniversary in Oct (first mini goal) then halloween and this costume: http://www.halloweenexpress.com/princess-leia-costume-p-16610.html And finally a big trip to Italy where I will no doubt gain weight from all the wonderful food and wine.

Jumping into Insanity sounds like a plan to possibly fail, unless you are already used to vigorous exercise. 30 day shred or ripped in 30 are great DVDs to start with. I know we all sound like we are on Jillian Michaels' payroll but the videos are great and they are less than 30 min. You're done before you realize you've…

On nights when I decide I won't drink and my brain wins out anyway and I find myself reaching for ice to fill my cup. I try to fill that glass with water. It helps.
-
I was told something once about quitting smoking. That your brain craves nicotine for about 10 min. If you can get past the 10 min it the craving will go away (at least for a while). I don't know if that applies to alcohol too, but when my brain says "just go in the kitchen and make a drink" I try to ignore it and do…

I don't track on the weekends. Not on purpose but I find it so easy as I sit here at my desk to log during the week while on the weekends I'm not in front of a computer or staring at my phone. So I continue to be aware of what I'm eating I just don't log it. I still try to eat well and get out for some hikes and always…

I dream of being able to do that. I would love to work up to that. I would do two different levels though. Listen to your body. If one level doesn't knock you on your *kitten* then do another! Or go run or do another one of Jillian's awesome 20 minute workouts. OR I have dreams of trying this out before a Jillian workout…

Now I know why football players fall down in excruciating pain when they get a cramp in their hammie or somewhere. WOW is this painful. I used to get them in the middle of the night in the arch of my foot. Then I started getting them in my calves when I would do a good stretch laying in bed. Now after doing some Jillian…

awesome! I will try the 8 rep thing out tonight. I'm clearly not challenging myself enough at the gym. And I just started really thinking about it and challenging myself more. There's no point in wasting the time if you aren't pushing yourself. I walk at least 30 min everyday, exercise to one of Jillian Michaels' DVDs…

I had the pizza, very fine juice drinks, fries, and steak and cheese (every friday), oh and soft pretzels (this was in the late 90s). I was a normal weight my whole adolescent life. I think that's thanks to my parents never introducing me to fast food. Taking ballet classes almost everyday, actually playing outside with…
