slow and steady vs fast and furious

Ive recently been basically going full throttle at the gym and have been burning 1000 cals in 90 mins. Im following my diet and drinking tons of water but my weight loss isnt where I'd like it to be.

Would you suggest keeping my heart rate lower and still buring the same number of cals or going hardcore as I have been?

Does it make a difference if the calories burned are the same?

Wow, peeked at your diary - you are burning crazy amounts of calories and not eating nearly enough! You may be headed for burn out and exhaustion from under-eating and over training.

    Great article here: http://www.shapefit.com/overtraining-exercising-too-much.html

If your struggling with the weight loss, that is likely why - you're putting huge demands on your body, but then you're barely fueling it, so it wants to hang onto whatever it can rather than efficiently burning the fat off.

Have a look at this topic as well - I found it extremely helpful for finding and setting my calorie goals, and it's working great for me: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

Food is fuel - eat too little and you're giving your body a reason to store fat rather than burn it.

You are definitely not eating enough for the amount of calories you are burning.
