Thanks for posting, but I have always been aware of this. That's why I only drink bottled spring water and don't eat asnything diet or anything with high fructose corn syrup. It's pretty simple to do if you only eat whole foods and nothing processed. Congrats on your progress thus far!

Here are the non meat protein foods that I can think of: Fage 0% Fat Plain Greek Yogurt, string cheese, beans, low fat cheese or cottage cheese, and chicken and almost forgo about eggs. Peanut butter and nuts have protein too but are also high in calories if you're not careful about portions. Somehow, I'm always over on…

Adding beans to salad is what you need to do. They are high in fiber and keep you satisfied. You could also add hard cooked eggs. Boith beans and eggs have protein and that also helps with satisfaction. Try it.

You can't go wrong with fresh fruits and veg. and if you want to feel satisfied focus on lean protein like chicken, turkey or fish, low fat dairy like plain Greek yogurt with berries. I don't eat anything diet only clean eating of natural, wholesome foods. P.S. I use a Misto with olive oil in it for cooking and flavoring…

Does it contain any artificial sweetener?

Jade, my mother-in-law lived with us for twenty years and we were always and still are not on good terms because she always wanted to rule in my own house. If it were me I would ask my husband for support otherwise I would refuse to go. I know what you're up against and in these situations, sadly, no one wins. It's too bad…

I have been eating clean for the longest time. I only drink bottled water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables (in Summer they come out of my garden), along with chicken and fish and Greek Yogurt. Nothing out of a box or baked and no sweets either. I used to eat unsalted nuts but they are too high in calories for me. I even…

Congratulations, that is qiutean accomplishment..

I never eat my exercise calories back because then I feel like what's the point of burning them off if you eat them back. Also, the type of food you eat makes a difference If you are eating processed food as opposed to whole food there is a big difference on how the body handles the breakdown of the foods. I stay within my…

I totally agree and the best part is that it is free. Congrats on your success.

My usual breakfast which I never get bored with is 4oz. Fage 0% Fat Greek Yogurt, 1 tspn. agave syrup, 2 tbs. wheat germ and 5-6 sliced strawberries along with my coffee of course.

Thanks for sharing your doctor's opinion. I usually don't eat calories burned and at Weight Watchers they advise that you should to keep things moving along but I never saw the logic in this. My reason for exercising is to burn more calories than I take in so I could lose weight. I feel if you eat the calories you burn…

I usually don't eat them. The whole point to losing weight for me is to try to eat less and I am comfortable with the daily calorie allowance. However if I feel like eating more for whatever reason then I know I can because of my calories earned through exercising. Sometimes I feel like having a treat so I do. Different…

Welcome to MFP. You're making a good start by joining MFP. It is so helpful with keeping track and filled with motivation. I joined about 20 days ago and have really been diligent about tracking which I always disliked doing before MFP but now I can't help doing it. I'm hooked! and that's a good thing. Feel free to friend…

I like to marinate my chicken then grill it, cut up into a spring mix salad blend along with fresh strawberries, chick peas, red onion, and sometimes grated cheese. I make a lemon vinaigrette for the dressing, or if you have peppers and onions you can roast the veg. or grill or lightly saute and add to cooked chicken for a…

I have to tell you that I have always had the utmost respect and admiration for people like you who lay their life on the line so selfishly to help fellow man and I am very grateful. People who feel otherwise are just too ignorant and don't know any better. God Bless You and thank you for all that you do. Peace.

Start walking and gradually work up to jogging. It's the best for dropping weight along with eating properly. All you need is a pair of running shoes. Good luck.

There is no rule that says you have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast. You can eat anything else that doesn't bother your stomach. How about cheese & crackers or fruit with yogurt, lunch meats or a sandwich of some sort. Peanut butter & jelly is good too. Left overs from dinner. There are lots of food choices other than…

Since I don't I like cleaning/peeling fruit I add Dole's Wildly Delicious Frozen Fruit blend ( which has mango, pineapple, peaches and strawberries) to my yogurt after the fruit is defrosted of course. It's really good and natural with no added sugar. I also like Wegmans Tzatziki in my tuna or on my chicken. It's a Greek…

Healthy fats are anything with monounsaturated fat or polyunsaturated fat, omega 3 fatty acids are also good fats which can be found in salmon. Other healthy fats are olive oil, nuts, avocado, dark chocolate with at least 60% cocoa, peanut butter. Fats are considered unhealthy when they contain saturated fats which can be…

I don't know what flirty girl fitness is but you can get an estimate of the activity points in your Points Plus Pocket Guide beginning on page 135. Just have to estimate whether it is low, med. or high intensity and match up to how long you did it for. Hope this helps.

Don't hate the way you look especially since from your photo you look fine. Be proud of who you are cause like the song says "Everybody's beautiful in their own way". You're probably too young to know this song. lol Being confident is half the battle. So take on the world girl You rock!! and never put yourself down.…

I have heard this does happen to women who work out too much although it has never happened to me. The excess exercise throws off hormonal balances in your body. Perhaps your are exercising with too much intensity and for too long. You should maybe cut the sessions to less time and not as strenuous. Hope all goes well for…

I do both elliptical and jog on treadmill. They are both effective. As long as you get your heart rate up any exercise will burn calories. The difference is that the ellipitical is easier on the body because it's lower impact on your joints which is better in the long run (no pun intended). So I would just stick with…

This must be normal because I also do elliptical for 45-60 minutes per session. Usually happens around 15-20 minutes in. What I do is try and wiggle my toes and also change pedal position to going backwards for about ten minutes. I don't think it has anything to do with shoes. Just the pressure on the feet when pumping.…

Lizzie, except for the fact that I don't have PCOS your story is similar to mine. I lost 20 lbs on weight watchers when I joined in April 2010. I am still on program and only in the last three weeks when I have decided to eat less carbs (no bread) and more salads with lean protein did the scale start to move. So I am down…
