Invite on the way...

I use the Wheyabolic Extreme 60 myself as well. Just 1 scoop for me (20grams instead of 60) is enough for my post workout shake. I've also used the EAS Lean 15 powder. That night be easier to find. I get it at Target or Wal-Mart.

The freedom of being single is nice but I've been single long enough. Time to get in shape so I can get noticed again.

One thing to think about is to work in some core training to build up your abs and back. That would also help you reduce stress on your lower back when you run.

Friend request sent. If anyone else needs a friend, feel free to hit me up, or just hit me :<)

I'm an IT guy so that pretty much vaildates my nerd status. That and liking Star Trek and Star Wars.

I was always a geek in school so brands of clothes never mattered to me. The only brands I have a thing for now that I'm 35 is New Balance shoes because they fit my wide feet really well.

Eyes and Face before anything else. However, personality can trump that. If you sound like an idiot or come off as arrogant, I don't care what you look like.

Feel free to add me as well.

Long time single, probably permanent at this point.

I graduated in 1994 so the big movies were Forest Gump and the Lion King. My favorite movies from that year were The Crow and True Lies.

Republicans come up with stupid ideas too. See Michael Bloomberg mayor of NYC and author of a very similar plan as the tool in the first post, elected as a Republican, currently independent. Stupid knows no political party. P.S. I am a registered Republican before the flames start coming my way.

NYC is going through this too thanks to Bloomburg. On one hand, how many people need a 44oz. Coke or two? But I get concerned when the governement steps in. I don't mind governments promoting physical fitness and making recommendations on healthy eating but when they start banning things, they need to be out of office.…

I'm about 300 pounds and I run a couple of times a week. I have a knee brace on each knee and I went to a running store and made sure I bought some shoes that were well cushioned. Lately, I've been doing interval runs (alternating walking and running) on a treadmill without any pain.
-
I'm not even close to mine. Like about 60 lbs.
-
I usually hit 600+ when I do cardio, I did 620 on the treadmill yesterday and 616 on the ellipitical today. That's a 32 minute workout with a 5 minute cool down. My HRM tells me that I stay in the 140's on the ellipitical and get up to 160-165 on the treadmill.

I'm still trying to find a diet soda I like. The only one that came close was Diet Coke with Lime. I usually stick to the leaded pop although I am trying to give that up for lent.
-
I'm going to try giving up pizza (since I am a borderline addict) and see how that goes.

I wouldn't if I were you. Working out, especially cardio does beat you up a bit and if you are sick when you work out, you'll feel worse afterwards. Give it a day or two and then jump back in the routine.

It took me some courage to walk into the gym for the first time. Then I saw all the other out of shape people there and didn't feel so bad. Just focus on where you want to be and not where you are and you can get in there. The first time is always the hardest.

Avoiding the long term back and knee problems that several people I know have gone through as they get older. I want to be healthy and active long past 70 years old.
