I try to workout as early as possible. Too many other things to do after work.

Pull-ups aren't really lower body exercises as much as they are lower back workouts. People should know the standards going in and work on attaining those standards. I agree that being able to do pull ups can be essential in a combat role. The biggest problem right now is you don't know when you are going to be in combat…

I like to mix things up and mix running with weights. I was doing some form of cardio almost everyday and I kept hitting plateaus in my weight loss. If you like running, keep doing it as long as you keep your progress up. If you hit a wall, mix things up a bit to get going again.

BMI is so flawed it's not even funny. There are lots of things it doesn't take in account like body types. I have no real use for it.

During the week it's either 2 scrambled eggs and bacon or a egg sandwich in the cafeteria at work along with some orange juice. If I'm running late, I stop at McDonalds for an Egg White delight McMuffin and a small OJ. On weekends, it's Kashi cereal and a glass of OJ.

I'm currently using Optimum Nutrition Platnum Hydrowhey. I like the amount of protein per scoop and it seems to be working well so far.

Dinner. Sometimes I have a bigger lunch but between working out and just being active on the weekends, I tend to be very hungry at dinnertime.

I use an armband when I run I never have any issues with it slipping.

A Blue 1988 Buick Skylark. Nice little car but I had a bad habit of hitting things in it. 5 minor accidents in 3 years. Sold it and got a 1990 Grand Prix, biggest POS I've ever driven.

Just finished Life Itself, Roger Ebert's memoirs. Really interesting read, he spares no detail and pulls no punches regarding some of the mistakes he made.

I actually found a grilled chicken wrap (no sauce or ranch) and a plain Caesar salad at the Hooters near me. Roughly 550 calories or so. You can make it work if you get creative there.

I'd go there once just for grins. And then go run a 5K afterwards...

My rule of thumb is if I break a sweat, I log it. It's ok to eat back your exercise calories as long as you are staying on track as your body needs more fuel after a workout to keep it moving. I try to focus on eating more protein early in the day because I like to workout first thing in the morning. Then I try to keep my…

I eat some or most of mine back because I do a lot of cardio. I tend to burn 1000 + calories a workout 5 days a week. There is no way I'd make it if I didn't. I try not to eat all of them back but not eating any back would be insane, esp. since my defeict is set to 2 lbs. a week as it is.

I sometimes wear a hat to the gym but it stays on the coat hook. Just not comfortable when I'm doing cardio and gets in the way when I am doing weights.
-
On weekdays, it's about 5-6 hours as I usually get up early to workout. 6-7 on rest days and weekends.

I used to get EAS protein powder at Target and never had an issue with the taste. I currently use ON protein powder and it tastes pretty good.

Friend request sent. I'm on pretty much everyday,

Agreed. Sounds like a control freak to me. He doesn't like anything that builds you up because then you would see what a loser he is. Hit the eject button and find someone who works with you, not against you.

Cauliflower and Brocoli, no thanks. I'm not a big veggie guy and I'll give most a chance. Not those two.

I am a twin too and I think that's the best approach. Encourage the two to talk it out themselves and only step in if they come to you about it. Maybe encourage the girl that's the better hitter to help the one out as a way to ease the tension. If they work together and help each other, it should help build both of their…

Last Spring. I'm not big on selfies and I tend to be behind the camera a lot more than in front of it.

I got about 7 months (Labor Day to mid-Feburary) out of my last pair but I run on the treadmill alot in the winter so that is easier on the shoes. I'm back to running outside now so I'll probably blow these out by July. I tend to stick with New Balance as I have wide feet and they seem to fit me better. I got fitted for…

There's a new fitness center in the basement of the building I work in. Great for sneaking downstairs at lunch for a run or getting in early (and getting a good parking space) and getting a workout in.

The hardest part of training on the treadmill and then running outside for me is pacing. I tend to run faster outside than I do on the treadmill (recently sped up the treadmill to counter that) so I tend to burn out faster. Just start off at a relaxed pace and disregard how fast anyone else goes.
-
I eat them back as needed. I tend to burn about 1000 calories per workout (300lb. runner) and I do eat some of the back normally. But I try to keep things balanced and not over eat but if I'm hungry, I will have something to keep me going. I also have my calorie settings set to lose 2 lbs.a week so anything on top of that…

I'd start real slow and see how it goes. Maybe walk around the block for a few days first. Don't go too hard too fast. Treat it like you've never worked out before for a few weeks and then start easing back into your old routine.

Great job. The first one is the most intimidating but the most satisfying to finish.

I ran my first 5K last year and finished in 41:33 so 35 minutes is perfectly fine. I ran my second over Easter weekend and finished two minutes faster. I was mid pack with that time.
