I'll do it! I have the DVD and do a workout every once in a while randomly but have never committed to the entire 30 day thing.

Jennifer Aniston's always been at the top of my list!

you look amazing!

yup! why am i reading this?! i don't know why i always end up reading these fight-y threads that i don't even care about. do whatever you want. eat, don't eat. makes no damn difference to me!

Yes! Don't make a habit of doing that every day or anything, but if you really want Reeces peanut butter cups and you work out extra hard one day, go for it! I just did that the other night with Haagen Dazs ice cream

I say continue to work towards your goal in a healthy way and let your family know that it hurts your feelings when they say you look "sick". When people say things like that I wonder if they would tell an overweight person that they look "sick"? It's hurtful and works both ways and I don't think a lot of people see that.…

I personally feel that it's too big a deficit, but everyone's body reacts differently to these sorts of things. i find i need to keep my deficit at around 500 to keep myself feeling "fueled". since you said you are just planning it for a few weeks I'd say give it a try and monitor how you feel. You may feel fine, or you…

 lovely. congrats!

I think that's the ticket - I'll try it with the volume off. It's mainly that I get sick of hearing her talk and knowing exactly what she's going to say.

Looking great! Congratulations on all of the positive lifestyle changes

You look great!! Seeing people's 30 Day Shred results always make me want to do it, but inevitably I start, get about 6 days in and then get SO BORED that I can't finish. How do you overcome the boredom?
-
Depends how far under. Can you open your diary so that we can see what you're eating? Your net should be no less than 1200 at the very least. As long as you are not consistently finishing your days with a net of less than 1200 I think you're ok.

If you are monitoring yourself to make sure you don't lose too much - and based on what your profile says about your history and the fact that you only have 2 pounds to go i think that you're right to monitor yourself - it doesn't make sense for you to weigh yourself every 2 weeks. however, i'd be careful with stepping on…

 it took me until about halfway through this post to figure out what was going on. i looked like this -->:noway:

THIS! these threads with the same questions over and over pop up practically every day and i think - "does no one use the search function!?"
-
i LOVE germany! want to go back to visit so bad! welcome
-
Congrats on your success! I can relate - I've been a member of MFP for a long time, but it never really stuck. This time I've been logging consistently and honestly for just under a month and I've already lost 13 pounds which is nearly halfway to my goal! I didn't expect it to go so fast but I'm not complaining!!

Toronto here! Anyone can feel free to add me

I also got a Polar FT4 and I haven't regretted it for one second! I love love love it and am so happy I made the investment because it has been key to my weight loss so far  Highly recommended!!
-
Really interesting, I'd never heard of being able to calculate it like that before. How do you figure out how many calories you require per pound?
-
i eat most of my exercise calories back. if i didn't eat any exercise calories back i would be STARVING and that just doesn't fly with me, i get cranky  even with eating back most of my exercise calories i am still losing at a faster than expected pace, so i'm going to enjoy being able to eat more when i push myself…

Weighing your food isn't obsessive - it's a total game changer! I bought a digital food scale and it was one of the best things I ever did for my weight loss. I had been using MFP for a while (like a year) and seeing NO change. Once i bought my food scale I realized that it was because I'd been eating 4 or 5 servings of…

Wow, everyone looks seriously amazing!! Congrats!
-
OMG me too! Everytime I say my favourite movie is Crybaby no one has ever heard of it!
-
Wowie! You look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and your confidence shines through in the after photograph. Hugely inspiring, congrats!!!
-
Well done! You look fantastic!
-
my new digital food scale. game changer!
-
But, and correct me if I'm wrong, if you set your activity level to "Active" because you are accounting for the exercise that you do, you should NOT log your exercise or eat back your exercise calories, right?
-
YES. I recommend getting a food scale. Once my eyes were opened to the magic that is a food scale, I realized that when I thought I was eating 1 serving of cheese just by "eye-balling it", I was actually eating 3 servings. That kind of stuff can make a big impact. I also always manually change the calories that MFP tells…
