How many carbs do you do a day? I'm not losing anything!!! I am so lost on what I shoulddo. I was eating single ingredient foods like chicken , fish vegetables eat but I'd lose a pound and then gain a pound and a half. I'm ready to quit and just get old and fat

If I did this right, it says I should be eating 1890 calories to lose weight. (step 6). I'm only eating 1200-1300 calories. (and I'm not losing anything) 1890 sounds scarey. You think that's right? I forgot to add that I lift weights for 45 minutes 3 days a week and walk 2.6 on treadmill 3 times a week.

But if I'm not eating enough calories due to strength training and cardio, my weight would stall because my body needs more fuel and I'm not giving it. Does that make sense? I know girls who lift weights and eat around 2000 calories. I'm gonna track this week and see if I have any loss at all. If not I'll bump the calories…

I do like exercising. I have been going to the gym for about 16 years now. I feel guilty if I miss. I was over maybe 200 to 350 calories. I'll do that. Thanks. I am tracking. I don't always stay at my 1200 calories and pick the best foods, but it's a process. Better than what I had been doing (which was yo-yo ing) Mary Ann

I'm guilty of this too. Normally I order something and only take a few bites and bring the rest home (my husband the eats it). He gets upset with me and say You always do that!. I don't eat a few bites because I'm trying to lose weight, I probably wasn't hungry to begin with :) Banking calories...I like that idea. Mary Ann

I lift. I am eating 1580 cals 150 P/ 75 F and I carb cycle around 40 a day and 75 on 7th day. I've been off for almost 3 months due to back and sciatica. Starting back up on wednesday.

If you are a beginner I would recommend machines for maybe 2 weeks just to get your form down correctly. If you lift free weights and your form is off, you could injure yourself and maybe not work the muscle correctly. I would start with machines and do a circuit. Your form will not suffer on a machine unless your are…

Watch the fruits, they have sugars even though they are natural. I do maybe a banana with my oatmeal or maybe an apple with 2 HB eggs for a snack and then that's it for the day (for me). i lift 3xs a week with a trainer. Since my nutrition was so bad, she had me start with writing down everything I ate. She would look at it and tweak the mistakes.
