A bikini....NEVER!!! I've been overweight since my 11lb birth. The best I did after losing 156 pounds and getting to my goal weight last time was a sports bra type top and women's swim trunks. You couldn't tell me I wasn't HOT! Unfortunately I have some loose skin issues on the inner thigh but I've become a master of…

I lost 156 pounds and got to my goal weight and absolutely lost my mind shopping. It had to be form fitting and show off my arms & shoulders (my best features I discovered). Then I had the nerve to gain back about 60 pounds. The ultimate are these size 8 Calvin Klein jeans that sit just right below the belly button.…

I was really sorry to read that this happened to you. Once the pain subsides I would go back to walking. If you need to take it slower for a while that's fine. Just keep moving. I had a torn rotator cuff a while back and the orthopedist gave me a sling for my arm so that I could stabilize the arm while I walked. If you…

....You're on a first name basis with the folks working the butcher counter at the grocery store. ....You stuff your homemade burger with every imaginable cheese -- blue, gorgonzola, feta, cheddar...YUM!!

I have not tried those but I really like the House Food brand. Those I can pick up locally at Weiss or Wegman's for under $2 and they're only 80 cals. & 2g net carbs per package. From the reviews it sounds pretty much the same.

I agree with carrievharman, some real firsthand research is required. Then you have to do a personal assessment to see what works for your body. You may want to start with these two websites: keto.org and www.reddit.com/r/keto/ Good luck!

There is no us versus them...you choose....and I choose what we each believe is best for each of our families. When we decided to have children, my husband and I knew that we were going to structure our lives to be as available to our children as possible. I worked as a journalist and he was an aerospace engineer. In the…

Denny gave some great advice. Try weening yourself from the processed sweets and eat as naturally as possible and then make the necessary adjustments with your macros to see what works best for your body. I know we want it all fixed yesterday but we have to also be patient and remember we are undoing the consequences of a…

Had a Zumba party tonight with my kids. I got the Zumba 2 for Wii this Christmas and we all love it. Put it on turn the music up and just dance. Fantastic burn as well. After an hour my Bodybugg said 506 calories burned. LOVE IT:bigsmile:

I especially love it when it hits me during the workout. Then I feel invincible, like I can keep going forever.

Okay I'm sold...cream of tartar is on the shopping list tomorrow. I have got to try this Oopsie bread....

You are right that this is extremely filling and I tend to make it when I need something to keep me going all day long.. I usually eat half with my morning java and nibble on the rest thoughout the day. I'm not a fan of the sweet version but I love adding garlic powder and parmesan cheese...Don't know about freezing it…

The fries are too tempting and the meat is suspect so I stay away.

No commercial plug but like the ad says:Just Do IT!!

Dinner: Found the tofu shirataki noodles (spaghetti, angel hair & fettuccine) at two different stores-Weis & Wegman's. Decided to make fettuccine alfredo using the simply directions on the package and added some left overroasted chicken and a liberal dose of cayenne. Mmm Mmm Creamy Good, Tasty and oh so Filling!! FYI: I…

After a lifetime of being overweight I lost over 150 and trust me when I say that no amount of water, creams or toning exercise (I did it all) prevented some loose skin but I'm sure it helped to minimize it. I'd say try it all and see how your body responds. And if going under the knife is an option for you, do what you…

Didn't get the sleep memo....here I am cruising MFP at 12:44 a.m. Guess I should call it a night...

While brushing teeth I will do squats & lunges. When I'm at the computer a long time I'll stop and do chair dips or go against the wall and do standing push-ups. I'll sometimes even do elevated pushup on the bathroom sink or kitchen counter. No surface is safe....

Jan. 1 weight: 213.5 Jan. 8 weight: 208.5 Total Weight Lost Week 1: 5 pounds Tuesday"s Challenge: Check! Water: 104 ounces Carbs: <30g/day Cardio: 60 minutes

I'm set at 30g but I stay closer to 20g most days to stay in ketosis.

While I really like all your challenge ideas my problem is when the vibe comes to workout I go with it. I completely forget the workout challenge until I check MFP at the end of the day and by then I'm pooped. This week I worked out everyday (missed the "No Exercise" memo) with a mix of cardio and circuit training so I got…

I have my macro set at 30 grams of carbs/day but I strive to stay closer to 20 since that's where my body responds best/fastest. I keep forgetting to pick up keto sticks to actually take measurement....

Love this! Sugar is a trigger food for me so I strive daily to not add sugar to my low carb diet and work with the natural sugars in foods. Strawberries were on the menu today!

Support is critical to my success and I absolutely believe in paying it forward. Feel free to add me.
