You are amazing! A true inspiration!

If you have a Costco membership, you can get quinoa for an excellent price. It tastes great and you can use it like oatmeal or like rice.

I was going to say something about that, too! I've felt better, been more confident, I'm not as anxious or scared to go out by myself anymore, and yeah, taking a roll in ze hay is much more enjoyable now!

I agree with everybody on here! Just keep doing the program. I started it last year at 270ish pounds. Yeah, I'm not fast, but that's okay. You're doing awesome and you should be very proud!

Yes, yes, just yes!

Cardio is great and Zumba is SO fun. However, something you should try, even though it sounds odd, is to weight train. With more lean muscle mass, you will burn more calories. And you won't become a gross female version of Arnie in his hay-day. Good luck!

Hey there, my mom and a good friend of mine have fibro. My mom has been doing Tai Cheng for her exercise and it's helped quite a bit (her doctor recommended tai chi over yoga and since I'm a Beachbody coach, I bought the program for her so she could do it at home). My friend is vegetarian and gluten free, which has helped…

When it comes to my food decisions, I think, "I can have it, but I don't want it."
-
Thank you! Exactly!!!
-
Well, we are a touch weird over here. :)

The way a lot of people, my mom included while I was growing up, made it was with store bought tomato soup. It is a pretty clean dish anyway, absolutely, but without the tomato soup you're not eating gluten or high fructose corn syrup.

First, getting and staying at a healthy weight is not a diet. It's a lifestyle. Start small so you don't set yourself up for failure. For example, start by switching white bread and such for whole grain bread, pasta, etc. And it's great that you've started on here because writing down every crumb you eat will help you…

Quinoa all the way. It is expensive, but it's a complete protein. Meaning that it's missing nothing! It's not a grain so it doesn't turn into sugar as soon as you eat it.
-
You can add it to your food diary every day. Just click on "Snack" and then add Breastfeeding there.
-
Yeah, you can stay under your calories, but the chemicals and sugar you're putting into your body are NOT good for you.

I had the same thing! I lost about 60 lbs before people really noticed. Just keep it up. You'll start getting comments sooner than you think!

I was really heavy and so I lost weight while pregnant without trying (HCG diet fo' real). It's like the other ladies have said. Don't binge. You're not actually eating for two. You really only need about 300 extra calories a day. Try prenatal yoga, it will at least keep you active. And if you drink soda, stop. Stop now.…

Myth: Muscle weighs more than fat. Fact: Muscle is more dense. A pound of muscle is the same as a pound of fat. Myth: You can burn 1,000 calories doing low impact exercise for 30 minutes. Fact: Pretty much all of the calculations on exercises on this site are WRONG. Wear a HRM.

Thank you so much! It's nice to have something to really be proud of.

Just do it! I thought I was too fat, but I am proving myself wrong on Labor day!

Alright, so my primary goals are to feel strong and lose weight, but the side effects of that is a better sense of self. I have depression and maybe a bit of anxiety. I have my down days and I've had to change my coping mechanisms from eating to running and exercising. My husband has bipolar and he does weight training to…

I know how that is! Regarding finding time at the gym, I understand you need your 'you' time, but you could incorporate your kids into your routine. I do my own little circuit at home which includes using my three month old as resistance and I bought my four year old one pound dumbbells so she works out with me. Not only…

Congrats on taking the first step! My advice is to get your nutrition under control first, then add exercise. Taking small steps is the way to create and maintain good habits. Also, take 'diet' out of your vocabulary. This is a lifestyle. You can take it off and keep it off! Good luck! And if you'd like verbal whoopin's…

Do your best! I suggest getting your nutrition under control first. It's best to make small changes so you'll stick with it. Plus, it's a lot easier to eat less than exercise 1500 calories off in one day. Don't be afraid. You can do this. Even though I've lost a fair amount of weight, I get discouraged. So I have to take a…

My mom had it and eventually had to have surgery, but she had a really ingenious way of stretching and icing at the same time. You know those frozen cans of fruit juice concentrate? Use your foot to roll the juice container. You could also use a marble rolling pin. Good luck!

Simply start by changing your nutrition, then add exercise in a few weeks or even months. It's tough when you don't have support and when temptations are calling to you. What made me decide on losing weight was simple... I can reach my goal or be close to it in a year, or be worse off. I can't tell you how many great…

ohsheglows.com! I love her recipes! I can always count on something good from her blog because she doesn't like tofu... which I also hate. My favorite is the easy tomato cream pasta. Good luck!

Try Oh She Glows recipes. They're vegan, delicious, and super simple to make. My favorite so far is the creamy tomato basil pasta. Good luck!!!

Because he has gadgets, maybe. I believe the Hulk would beat anyone. The angrier he gets, the stronger he gets, and there's no limit to his rage!

Pretty sure I need to be in this group!
