Absolutely! Looking good and felling good are a cycle ;)

I started the c210k program in January, followed it less-than-perfectly and yesterday I ran every step of a 10k. Even those 90 second runs in the beginning seemed like they might kill me and yet I somehow managed to run for 1:18 yesterday. I'm 42 years old and I've never been a runner. If I can do it, anyone can do it!

I generally eat leftovers from the previous night's dinner. It's already prepped and I know the calorie count so it's easy.

Scrambled eggs over sweet potato with a little bit of herb goat cheese. Mmmmm.

I'm obsessed with these https://www.califlourfoods.com/ I keep a stash of them in my freezer and they're a great quick dinner. My kids love them too. The red pepper is my favorite. That's not to say that I don't occasionally want a traditional pizza, cause I do, but these are really good!

Subtract your total fiber from your total carbs and watch your net carbs instead.

I started doing monthly weigh ins too and it's WAY better for me emotionally. I weigh mid- month on the scale at the gym just before 6am. That's about as consistent as I can get
-
I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. My goal is to hit 3 strength training classes and 3 cardio classes. I've also been running outside of the gym (C210k program) but I haven't been all that consistent with it lately. I feel so much better than I did when I was only doing strength training and I've lost almost 40lbs since…

5'6" 180lbs US size 10

I recently lost 33lbs and there's a woman at my office who keeps telling me how skinny and inspirational I am (I'm 5'6", 180lbs and a size 10) all the while complaining about how fat she's gotten since having her kids. She's my height and a size 8. Take it all with a grain of salt but take it as the compliment it's…

I just go. Even if I don't feel like it. I've regretted NOT going to the gym, but I've never regretted going. I also have a friend I try to go with as often as possible, we motivate eachother which helps immensely! Good luck!

You need to address how far under your calories you are too. I hope you scrapped the binge food but I also think you should be making sure you're eating enough. You mentioned kids, are you eating healthy meals with them? 900 calories won't sustain you and I would think would make you even more likely to binge.

I can't speak to the phentermine part but it took my losing 30lbs to lose ONE jeans size. I was losing but for whatever reason the way the loss was distributed made it hard to see. It'll happen though.

I used to weigh daily but I was getting way obsessive about it. Now I don't even keep a scale at home and I weigh once a month on the same scale at the gym.
-
I get them all the time but they mostly say they're because of how many miles I've logged on Map My Ride
-
I assume they're high so I only eat back a small portion of my exercise calories
-
I'm on week 8 Day 2 of C210k and plan to move on to the half marathon trainer if I can get through this. My daughter and I are signed up to do a 10 Mile race in November.

Shop farmers markets for your produce if you can, you can get great prices ESPECIALLY if you go toward the end of the day.
-
I get that. I'm always grabbing larger sizes at stores. Sizes I haven't worn in YEARS. I've even put my own jeans away in my teenage daughter's drawers because they looked "too small" to be mine so I assumed they were hers. And I'm a size 10, that's not tiny... it looks tiny to me though. But I see it in photos and in how…

I go to group classes that are a mix of strength and cardio so I tend to log it as circuit training. I think the MFP calorie count is pretty overinflated but I don't eat many of my exercise calories back anyway so it doesn't matter much.

Congrats! I agree with ABabilonia, if you want to increase your running think about Couch to 5k (or 10k, depending on your ultimate goal) it's been great for me!
-
I set my original calorie goal manually. I've lost 23lbs and haven't gotten a prompt to change my goals so I think the app only for this for you if youre using their calculation.

I drink tea for the caffeine and sparkling water for the bubbles. I uses to be SO addicted to Coke Zero and now I can't remember the last time I had one.
-
I'm 5'6" and about 185 and currently wearing a US size 10...so just about the same body type as you. If a particular size suits you, use that as your goal. You can always alter your ultimate goal as you go. Plus pounds and sizes are tricky, it took me losing 23lbs to go from a size 12 to a 10 when some people lose a size…

Im halfway through c210k (by the end of this week I'll be able to do a 5k!) and I can't say enough about how great of a program it is. In the beginning I could barely run the 60 second intervals and I'm up to 28 minutes now. Good luck with it!

Keep working at losing fat and gaining muscle and in the meantime find a bikini you like and wear it on your vacation :)

What worked for me (but doesn't work for everyone) was cutting added sugar completely for at least a month. It sucked at first but once I got through the initial sucky part I stopped craving it. Now I can have A cookie (or whatever) without eating the entire sleeve of cookies :)

My go to at Mexican restaurants is always fajitas. I skip the rice, beans and tortillas and just eat the meat and veggies with salsa.
-
You could start halfway through c210k. Week 9 (of 14) Day 1 will get you started right where you're at now and you could do a 10k in 6 weeks :)
