  • I'm 5'9" and weigh 161 and I am a size 10. When I was 218 I was a size 18/20.
  • MFP says at 1640 I should be losing 1/2 lb/wk, but I lose 1lb/wk. I think my activity level is between sedentary and lightly active so my maintenance is 2,140 at my current weight. Once I get to my goal It will be about 2,000.
  • That's wonderful! Sometimes its hard for us to notice since we see ourselves everyday, but I'm sure its nice to know he noticed! Congrats!

  • I will make up for workouts the next day. I guess I just think I have my day start at 7:30pm when the kids are in bed and if I burn 300 calories then I will eat 300 calories the next day. I don't know if this is bad or not. You could just log your excercise in the morning as if you did it the next morning then you have all…

  • I had 2 babies within the last 2 years and the last was a c section. I do have lower abdominal pooching, but it is getting better. My top roll under my boobs is gone though. My stretch marks are all white now and I am pretty happy with the results. You won't have to wear spanx the rest of your life. It will get better.
  • Wow! You look great! Congrats on all your hard work!
  • I do the slim fast shakes for breakfast when I am in a hurry and use the meal bars as snacks. I like the cookie dough bars.
  • I have 2 daughters. The oldest will be 2 and the youngest 1 this month. Together they weight 49lbs. I get a real kick out of holding on e on each hip and realizing that is how much I used to weigh (Plus 7 more lbs.!) Its crazy to think I lost that much, but puts the loss in perspective since I don't really always see my…

  • I've been on it for 8 months and have been bleeding for 8 months. I've an appt on Friday to get a solution. Maybe mirena even though its over $800.
  • I take my thyroid meds everyday and I opnly forget maybe once every couple of months, but the repercussions for birth control are much steeper. So hubby isn't ready for the "clip clip", but it is covered. I used to be on the patch and I now remember how it would slide and the glue would turn black and get on my clothes.…
  • On whole wheat bread, or on a spoon.
  • 1 cup = 8 oz or about 0.25 L
  • It may be water weight from you working out so I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you are getting at least a NET of 1200 calories per day. You should eat back your exercise calories or your body can go into starvation mode and you will actually gain weight.
  • Here are some of my favorite low cal "freezable" recipes. I ususally grocery shop every other Friday and cook on Saturday during nap time. I make 2 casseroles for each item then I have 8 meals ready to freeze for the next 2 weeks. Vegetable Meatloaf with Balsamic Glaze Recipe courtesy Bobby Flay for Food Network Magazine…
  • Well I have 2 "babies" one is 23 months and the other is 11 months. Breastfeeding helped me lose 35 of the 45 lbs I gained with #2, but I still had 10lbs to go when i started my weight loss journey over 6 months ago. I am proof you can do it! Good luck and I always try to remember I am stopping the unhealthy cycle in my…
  • You look great! Congrats on your achievement!
  • Mission accomplished! Right?
  • Waht about talking to a counselor and getting advice from them? Maybe talk to a psychologist and see if there is some cognitive behavioral therapy that can help you work thru your eating disorder. I think admitting it is the first step now you need to find a professional that can help you. I don't know where you are from,…
  • Had a dial scale up until about a month ago when I bought my Taylor 7506 from Walmart. ($23 plus free shipping!) I love my new digital scale. My old one wan't real clear so I would bend down to make sure I was reading the right number and the number would change. Definitely digital!
  • Well at least I lost, but I didn't meeet my goal of 1lb. I went from 161.8 to 161.4. So a 0.4 lb loss this week. I am trying to drink more water since the sodium in my PF Changs last night was not helpful. I WILL lose 1 lb this coming week.
  • Maybe we can get a group discount?
  • I am quite motivated by quotes so here you go. The future depends on what we do with the present. -Gandi If you want to have a heathy future you need to live healthy today. Energy and persistance conquer all things - Benjamin Franklin If we did all things we are capable of we would astound ourselves. -Thomas Edison Stick…
  • Well I still have mine, but it has gotten smaller. I had one c section almost a year ago, but I still have about 14lbs to go. Don't worry it will get smaller.
  • I would try to look up the menu and nutrition facts on line before you go on the date. Did he tell you where you were going ahead of time?
  • Good for you! My 2 year old saw a picture of me from my honeymoon when I weighed 178 and didn't recognize me because she only knew me when I weighed 250lbs! She kept asking "who's that?"
  • Yeah, you have to update your goals and it will update your calories. Mine usually drop about 10 calories per day per lb lost.
  • It took me 28 weeks, but I still have about 14lbs to get to my goal.
  • It has been 28 weeks since I started my weight loss journey. I average about 2 lbs per week, but I am down to losing 1lb per week now. I think I'll have to switch to 1/2 lb per week real soon. It just gets harder and harder as I get closer to my goal.
