You don't necessarily gain weight on birth control, believe it or not I actually LOST weight when I started birth control, but there are alot of other factors involved as well, I was in college so I was walking back and forth to class everyday, the kind I was on originally made me nauseous all the time so I wasn't really…

You should be PROUD of your results!!! They are AMAZING!! I can't wait till I start my 30DS, I hope my results are as great as yours!!
-
I have 30DS also, and plan on starting it on April 1st, (I'm doing the Zumba DVD's right now), my question was this; the workouts are only about 20mins long right? So, did you do any other workouts along with 30DS?

I understand exactly how you feel, the running joke in my family is if there's a new restaurant or a new item at a fast food restaurant "ask Daphne she's probably already tried it" and then my dad's the worst, he's overweight himself but wants to constantly give me weight loss tips, I'm just like really? My mom, actually…

*bump* That's a good question, I would like to know the answer to this as well.

*bump* to read again later

My sizes range from 6-10, I have this dress that I've never worn before (size 6) that I hope to be able to get into in time for my 10 year high school reunion.
-
Wouldn't it only count maintainace calories if you wore it all day, not just while working out? I'm a bit confused.
-
I tried to go to that website but it wouldn't come up
-
Honestly the only way to get a semi-accurate calorie burn count is to invest in a Heart Rate Monitor, one with a chest strap, if your budget allows.

Super Supreme Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut, hey it's got vegetables on it, lol

I have the 1st set of Zumba dvd's I think it came with 6 dvd's, and I LOVE IT!!! I really like the music, I find myself sometimes wakling around humming the songs from the dvd to myself, I'm also about to start the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred cuz I don't want to get bored with Zumba, it is really fun. I just looked on…

Some people on here say that you are supposed to eat your "exercise calories" because you have to take in to account that your body is going to burn a certain amount of calories regardless if you do anything or not, that's called your BMR, the calories that the website suggests for your weight loss goals is only so you…

I always thought that for your waist measurement you were supposed to measure right up under your bust, the smallest area between your bust and your hips is your waist, I think???:ohwell:
-
That's so AWESOME!!! I really needed to read this because I have been slacking off these past couple of days, and this might just be the motivation I need to get back on my game.
-
My scale is about 3 years old as well, what is the "life" of a digital scale anyway?
-
Do you need any other equipment with the dvd or just yourself?
-
I have the FT4, and I LOVE it!!, I don't really need to upload the data to the computer because you can do that on here when you are done working out.
-
Well, I used to have to work at night (4-11:30), so I would try to get like a quick little 30 min workout in after work, because I knew I was going to sleep late the next day. Just so I would have some kind of physical activity for that day. With a change in your schedule like that it's probably gonna depend more on…

Is that order from best to worst? I have a Taylor Lithium. don't know what the 'Lithium' means but that's what it says
-
I didn't know that all those things factor into scale readings, I had just gotten out of the shower when I did my weigh-in, but I don't know how to calibrate my scale (it's digital).
-
I also have the POLAR FT4, I feel like it's pretty accurate, I mean it gives me some idea of the calories I burn and it's better than trying to depend on a website to tell me what I've burned, I do Zumba and it's not listed on here as far an estimate of calories burned, so that's why I purchased a HRM.
-
I would have to say I've had a few deciding moments, I would have to say looking at pictures, I have a picture of myself from my freshman year of college and a picture I took about a year ago and my arms looked "GINORMOUS" and not in a good way, also the running joke in my family is "If you wanna know what a new restaurant…
-
It is very confusing, but I have also heard that the ones with the chest strap are more accurate, I have a POLAR FT4 and it seems pretty accurate to me, after doing each of the workouts a couple of times the calorie counts are pretty close each time.
-
Well, I haven't been to an actual Zumba class but I do have the dvds that they advertise on TV and the one titled "Cardio Party" is about 50 mins long and I normally burn about 520-540 calories when I do this particular dvd (I wear a HRM while doing it), but every body is different, so if it's in your budget I would…

I'm so glad I read this post, because I did not have a good day today, I have been under my calorie goal 3 out of 5 days this week, I've worked out 5 days (twice on 3 of those days) and drank plenty of water, but my muscles were kinda sore all week, and when I got on the scale this morning it said I GAINED 3 pounds, I have…
-
You look AWESOME!!! I can't wait to post some progress pics of myself on here, I'm waiting till I'm a month in to do it, so that'll be around the 1st of April, your pics just give me more motivation to keep it up!
-
Bunny Leather Thong, lol too funny!
-
I don't use their estimate for calories burnt, i purchased a HRM so that I'm a litle more accurate with the amount of calories I burn whil working out.
-
I appreciate the feedback, but I'm still a little confused, I always thought that in order to lose weight you have to burn MORE calories than you take in, is this not accurate? I was honestly very proud of myself that I had like 400 or more calories left a the end of the day and I wasn't hungry, I thought that was point, I…
