It's really difficult for strangers to suggest food for you because we don't know your food preferences. Eat what you like but fit it into your day. Plan out your food for the entire day and see if it all fits into your calories. If not, find lower calorie alternatives. You can still eat bagels and donuts for breakfast if…

Only if he is getting enough protein which isn't always the case. Also, studies have shown that when you have higher body fat percentage your body is less likely to build muscle mass rather than fat.

Just want to point out that you don't need to do low-fat to lose weight. Calories in < Calories out is all that matters for weight loss. Fat is important macro for your body. You need to fat in your diet and it can be harmful to your body long term if you keep doing low-fat.

If you don't want to lose any more weight but want to lose belly fat then I suggest a body recomp. Lift heavy by following a progressive lifting program (I like Stronglifts). You need to do full body compound lifts to really activate your core muscles and you need to lift heavy. Follow a program to get the best results. It…

I've learned that if you don't make a big deal about losing weight to the people that try to sabotage you, they are less likely to sabotage you. Learn to say "no thank you" when offered food you don't really want and treat yourself if its something you want and fit it in your calories. If you say "sorry I'm on a diet" they…

My uncle started TKD with his two 8 year old children. He started at 325lbs and is down to about 300 now. He doesn't really track his calories but tries to make healthy choices. He said it can be tough at times but he has kept his own and its amazing to watch him during the demonstrations. You can do it. You just may have…

It depends but eventually it will be off if you keep at it. I will offer you some advice. Don't do anything crazy. Make small, easy changes that you can keep up for the rest of your life. Don't give up foods you love, just moderate them. For example, my bf would get fast food and would get a burger, large fries, large soda…

There are other reasons to open your diary. Macros, accuracy of logging, etc. that could help people get a better idea of what to suggest to help you.

To figure out your calories, figure out your TDEE and lower your calories from there. You can do TDEE - 10/15/20% or TDEE - X calories TDEE calculators: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ More than 75 lbs: 2 lbs/week…

Your body retains water for a number of reasons due to different stresses that occur in life. When you lift weights, your muscles are being torn and repaired which causes them to get stronger. I don't know much on the topic so maybe someone with more knowledge would be able to explain in greater detail. During this…

There is potential to gain a bit of muscle if you are new to lifting however you are more likely to see mostly strength gains. You can gain strength without gaining muscle. The importance of lifting while losing weight is to keep the muscle you have and to gain strength. It's very difficult and time consuming to gain…

I thought crunchyroll had all the new stuff? I haven't made an account yet because they haven't added the app to Xbox One but when they do I'll get an account. I recently got into anime when my boyfriend took me to FanimeCon in San Jose in 2012. Cosplay was one of the main reasons I wanted to lose weight and I cosplayed…

I hate eggs. I can eat them in baked goods or something that you can't taste the egg. I can't eat them on their own, on french toast or anything that you can see or taste the egg. Something about the texture really gets to me but the taste makes me gag as well. Its a bummer because they are good for you but there is so…

I started with the empty bar on all but overhead press and deadlifts. I started with 65lbs on deadlifts and 30lbs on overhead press because 45lbs was too much.

I have found that the pedometer apps aren't as accurate as fitness trackers such as fitbit. However, its free-a few dollars vs $100+. You get what you pay for. I love my fitbit but I'm a data junkie and need accurate information, charts, reports, etc. Overall though, they are all just estimates. It depends on how serious…

1. I look at how soon I gained that weight. If I gained 2lbs overnight then it's water weight. A pound is 3,500 calories so you have to eat 3,500 over your maintenance calories to gain 1 pound. It's extremely hard for you eat 7000 calories over your maintenance in a short period of time without you knowing. 2. No idea…

I currently have a Fitbit Flex and I've had a Fitbit One in the past. I love my Flex, it stays on my wrist, its small and unnoticeable and it tracks very accurately. I've considered upgrading to a Fitbit Force because having a display with the time on my wrist would be cool but the Force is not waterproof and that is one…

Not lunch yet but I'm going to go get chinese food with my boyfriend. Probably getting chicken and veggies.

That commercial was just on and that's why I clicked on this thread. Disappointed.

Ice cream is delicious therefore it's beneficial. On a serious note, food isn't "bad" or "good". Once you hit your macros, you don't get extra credit for continuing to eat "healthy" foods. Eating food you enjoy, especially when you need the extra calories is key to keeping motivation to lose weight and keep it off. Most…

Jealous much?

I'd estimate around 800-1000 calories. The ones I'm finding in the database are ranging from 400-500 per cup. The place probably used butter or oil to cook the veggies and probably had a form of oil/butter in the sauce.

I asked my BF to go with me. Look for coworkers, family members or friends that are interested in working out with you.
-
Just fit it in your calories and you'll be fine. I usually do iced coffee with a scoop of protein powder and some almond milk.

HAHA just saw this now.

I agree with the above. You will be increasing the weight less often on your new program than with 5x5 but that's the only downside I see. In my opinion, it's more important to enjoy your lifts. The accessory lifts should help you break through your upper body lifts as well. I added accessory lifts and went from 5x5 to 3x5…

All of this.. I'm sure there is more. I hate driving. I live in California and we get a lot of traffic. I deal with idiots on a daily basis and it drives me nuts. It's really not that hard to drive but apparently people have difficulty with it.
