My Wii. Wii Boxing, and Wii Zumba mainly. But I get pretty energetic with the baseball and tennis. :-) Since they're games, you don't think about the workout.

I have a gym membership that has a kids area, sort of like Monkey Joe's. I'm "Mom of the year" because they get to bounce for an hour 4 days a week. :-)

I don't get anywhere near it, but had my doctor test my levels, and it came out normal. I wouldn't be concerned unless you get a lot of muscle cramps.

TOO FUNNY! I'm still laughing out loud. I think I want to try it just because of the creative marketing.

If I go more than 3 days without a movement, I get a large Dunkin Donuts coffee. It's the only one that does it for me. But it has to be a day without a whole lot of meetings at work, as it really does the trick, all morning. LOL Since starting MFP, I too have had the issues with irregularity.

It's funny... some folks I've recruited to the site have also seemed to make it a competition or top my successes. Bums me out, but I feel like a jerk not wanting to congratulate them. LOL Guess we just need to focus and be excited about our own successes, the true ones. And congrats on getting into the single digit! I've…

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! You've done awesome, keep it up!

A dear friend of mine is also 300+ lbs, or was when we talked on this topic so many times. We both knew we wanted to lose weight, and that we were miserable, and ate too much. And didn't understand why we never did anything about it, or couldn't stick to a diet. Somehow, something just clicked in my head several months…

Ack! I'd feel guilty if I didn't exercise. I've become so attached to it, and it makes me feel great, and makes my hair silky and skin soft. When I take a single day off, I feel like a fat slob. If my doctor told me this, I'd be in freak out mode. So I'm right with you. But it seems like everyone above me does rest weeks?…

What she said. That's the whole point of MFP!

My TOM has drastically changed since my eating and exercise habits have changed. I've spotted, I've had MAJOR emotional swings, and the bleeding was heavier. I'm hoping it will calm down once it figures out my new lifestyle. So... you're not alone.

Oh honey - at least 90% of the people on this site are scale obsessed. :-) I tried the hiding thing too. But it didn't work. I finally gave in, and accepted the fact that I was obsessed, and nothing would stop me from weighing. You just need to know in your mindset that you can gain weight from water weight, a huge meal…

We have a Hamilton Beech, but it was made for smoothie/ice stuff. I believe it was only around $50 at Wal-Mart. We make about 4-5 smoothies a week. Had it for several years.

My personal opinion is that if you're ready to take drastic measures, and commit to a very very very strict (and bland/minimal) diet and exercise program, then you can do the same without the surgery and cost. You just have to give it time. If it takes you a year and a half to drop 100 lbs, remember that it took…

I too had TERRIBLE knees. I joined the gym primarily for the group classes. But I gave the eliptical a shot. I was only able to handle it a couple of minutes when I first started about a month ago. Today, I did it for an hour. A LOT less impact than walking, nice smooth movements. I've done diets before without the…

Ditto! :-)

You know you have lost weight when your arms actually hang perpendicular to the ground rather than laying on wherever your fat lives.

ditto. I try to eat more sashimi instead, but it's just not the same. So I usually steal a piece of a roll from my husband. lol

20%. Right now I try to stick to 300 breakfast, 400 lunch, and 500 dinner, and I say "try". Difficult to do when my husband does the cooking. :-)

I'm in! I'll aim for 31 miles. An average of a mile per day. :-)

Sounds interesting! Think I'll need to try them!

Woah... I totally have a CD for them. MUST dig it out. Haven't thought of them in FOREVER!
