  • Skipped the workout last night - I was so sore at work that I could not focus properly on what I was doing. I am going to try alternating this workout with walks or other exercise. On the plus side, I purchased new hand weights last night in 3 lb and 5 lb.! Karen
  • I plan on taking a rest day, either Sat. or Sun. whenvever Chicago weather allows me to take my 1 1/2 mile walk on the local bike paths. I started walking this summer and really enjoy it. Karen
  • Completed Day 3 last night. My legs are okay, but are my arns and abs sore! I need to work on stretching more after the workout and hope that helps. I have to be honest here and say that I do not enjoy this workout. Since it is only 20 minutes though I have to just suck it up and keep going! karen
  • Completed Level One last night. I had to stop and modify more than Jillian would allow, but I got through it. My push ups and crunches are so bad - I don't have enough upper body and core strength. I'm sure that will get better in time.   • Confession - I missed Day One. I am on medication for a pinched nerve in my shoulder and had a sleepless night. But I will not miss Day Two! Karen
  • HI! I am 50+ years young also and would love to have a buddy in my age group. It really is harder when you are older but we "young at heart" will perservere! Please le me know if you would like to be buddies. I'm new to MFP so I dont know how to add a buddy! Karen
