buying a food scale and using measuring cups/spoons opened my eyes about portion servings. Definitely recommend it if you don't have one yet! I'm seriously missing mine :( Left it back home when I came overseas :(

It could still be dehydration. How much water do you drink in general? Try finishing a bottle (min 500ml) or more before you go work out (maybe before your breakfast so it's not sloshing in your belly, lol). Drinking while working out is great, and hydrate through the day as well. If you're somewhere hot then drink more…

That people who you thought were there for you are not really always there for you.... And kinda on the flip side, but not really: Not everyone knows how to handle their emotions. Sometimes concern can come out in really nasty/demotivating ways. You need to remember that this is about YOU and not them.

bump to save... thanks for the post

THESE! Especially the middle one - aka "normal food"... because processed, fried and dipped in sugar is "normal"...

Good music or running outdoors with good scenery (nature trail or something like that). Unfortunately, it really is one of those "practice makes perfect" kinda things... The more u do it the more u'll start to like it! Edit to add: wat cwolfman says is true too... Maybe try for a month or so more.. But if it really isn't…

These are awesome. I use a playlist of songs that make me feel upbeat- this makes my workout go by faster. I also have apps with workout plans on them.... Use my phone for music so it's handy to have them on here too.

http://www.fitsugar.com/Low-Carb-High-Protein-Breakfasts-30915254 This link has some good breakfast ideas... The avocado one is really filling... Maybe the combo of fats and protein? Something which may also affect your hunger is if you're hydrated enough... I haven't read through the rest of the posts to see if this has…

I don't think people with books at the gym look silly but don't want to lug a pen n book around either... I saved my routine in my Evernote app on my phone... Also record my stats in there too but am going to make an excel file to save that in instead... The note's getting messy, lol. I take my phone to play music off of…

Just want to point out, she's not talking about calories, she's talking about the quality of the food. I have many people in my life who eat half the amount of food I do, yet are still much heavier and continuing to grow. They eat foods which are fried, buttered, sugared and whatever else you can think of. She hasn't once…

Bump for ideas :)

Thanks for sharing yours :) Sorry, nothing to contribute though I'm looking for the same... I'm especially interested in ones which would be good in salads with strawberries and other fruits! Otherwise I'm super boring, apple cider vinegar with lemon juice.... works well enough but it's a super snoozer

bump to read later.... thanks for sharing :)

Sorry OP, no help, but just want to thank other posters for the links!

Displaced Canadian here :) I'm also too old to say YOLO, but at the end of the day it's a good philosophy :) Hope that doesn't disqualify me lol... Friend request sent!

In India, white is a funeral colour. So there goes that ;) Your wedding is about YOU and what you want. I think it'll look very elegant- and if that's what you want (which it sounds like it is) then go for it :)

Amazing job, and thanks for sharing :) Just the boost I needed :)

What kind of exercises do you do? It doesn't really look like you need to lose weight... maybe you're looking to get more toned? Try strength training, it would help you get leaner without necessarily losing lbs (and as mentioned above, would help with the loose skin as well). Edit, because I saw your response after I…

It definitely is possible to lose weight with only cutting cals (lost abt 20lbs that way) but exercise makes a huge difference in helping you tone up and look slimmer. the 20lb loss I had with exercise and cutting cals looked like it was double what I lost with only cutting cals! Edit: After reading everything you wrote,…

I read the op then scroll the first page.... keep reading if its interesting or reply to op if not. Might go back and read other posts if it looks like it's gotten juicy by the time I reply lol

lol... yes, that's weird, but I think it kinda goes with being conceited... the whole "hey, I'm ME... I can do what I want" mindframe...

bump to save... I'm pretty horrible at maintaining this 30 day stuff but this should be easy to fit in to whatever else I do as well :)

This, but when I read your title, I immediately thought "Running". It hasn't necessarily helped me lose the most, but it taught me that I am much more capable than I thought I was.... and knowing that has helped me immensely

My height! My family isn't amazonian, but I'm still the shortest one... at 5'3, even the 12 yr olds are taller than me :( And having white hair already. I've had it since gr 8 :( and now I have white eyebrows/lashes too, so that sucks. That's also genetics, couple of my cousins have this too

This (including the oversized mug! :) But I try not to put too much sugar in my tea... I feel like that defeats the purpose, lol... I use Stevia where I can) and also This. Keeping a bottle on you is so helpful - you basically need to build the "habit" of drinking water (and get used to going to the bathroom a million…
