  • You don't necessarily need protein directly after a workout. Your body will be repair itself for 24-48 hours, so you can eat or drink the protein anytime really. Also, if you work out before bed, your body will burn off carbs first, then the possibility of more fat burning while you sleep.
  • Cardio doesn't have to be running or a treadmill, you can do circuit training which would hit you goal of strength training with cardio mixed in.
  • There was a time when I only had a chance to workout before bed. I was still able to fall asleep and lose weight. I didn't eat after my workout most of the time, and if I did it was a protein shake. I've been there and understand, I suck at waking up early for anything.
  • I agree. I recently came to the revaluation that I haven't been putting forth the effort I should be. That was this past Monday. Since then I've been putting forth more effort in my workouts, but have also been mixing my diet up and I'm already down 2 pounds, I still have 30 to go as well. So definitely try changing things…
  • There's multiple nike apps/sites but yes the nike+ is just running. If you want something different the website has the different apps and such.
