Nope not a failure! I just started last week as well (on the elliptical even) and started at level 15 and nearly puked at the 27 minute mark. I have been back 5 times and have complete 2 45 minute sessions level 20 (out of 25). Your body is just waking up. Drink lots of water!! WAY TO GO!!

I am no expert but there are so many variables involved in your situation. All I can say is good job, keep it up and remember, whatever the numerical results (or lack there of), you are getting healthier. Yes I look at the profiles, but honestly could care less about what they look like. its not the reason I am on here. If I can get that little extra motivation from anyone on that day I REALLY need it then I am happy. Does that explain my low friend numbers?

I have one of those handy dandy thingy mebobs that measures it but I seriously take it with a large graind of low sodium salt. It gives me a progress though. If I am losing weight and working out the % DOES go down but I put it in the + or - a few % zone. I want to reiterate that the weight loss percentage is the right way…

Which sucks if you are gaining muscle. But thats hard to measure. So if you are doing a lot of lifting do not get discouraged!

I weigh every work day and sometimes on the weekends. It doesnt bother me if I gain or stay the same, that just makes me more conscience of my dietary decisions during the say. I also like to weigh at night time sometimes just to see the difference over night :)

Anyone planning on doing anything specific? ie body for life, p90x? I plan on just watching what I eat and doing standard things like cardio and weight training using a variation of body for life

I have an excel spreadsheet tracker that has before and afters from 2 years ago. I recal staring at the changes back then for a couple of minutes in the morning. Very motivational..... until I stopped. Looking forward to round two! (i will post picture here)
