Did you check your HRM periodically? I don't even watch the machines anymore because my HRM is more accurate. I just check the min-max range screen sometimes, and then get the total at the end.

I can't speak for the specific model you have, but with my Polar FT-4 hrm, I trust it implicitly. HRM's have a much better idea of what your body is doing than any piece of equipment or online sources.
