Just finished workout 2 here...hrm puts me at 214 calories so I'm pleased with that as I couldn't put my all into the lunges with twists as my knee doesn't agree with them at all...I don't really have a bad knee and lunges have never been a problem before so not sure what that's about, perhaps in doing the twists I'm…

My hrm had me at 267 calories and I felt it! First lesson learned for next time - not to work out in front of a roaring fire...was a bit cooked to say the least And you're very right about not taking any short cuts on the stretching as I'm a little sore in places today... My dog and I just finished w2d3 on tuesday and my leg was a little sore so resting until tomorrow! The good thing about running with the dog is that he keeps a nice even fairly slow pace I can jog to and I feel a lot safer with him by my side :)

I just read this and can't believe the similarities, I'm 191 and my partner 119 and we have exactly the same problem, I cook all the meals and am also struggling to find ways to bulk out his foods, I'll be watching this one with interest!

One of my favourite quick ones is to simply rub a tablespoon of curry paste on it (I use tikka) and grill it, tasty, quick and easy, no pots and pans required!
