That's pretty much what I'm living on now...I haven't tried the squash and courgette yet though so I'll give them a try thanks :)

Unfortunately peanut butter is out, I've been mixing my protein power with lactofree and some frozen banana which makes a delicious smoothie but I desperately miss texture in my diet :( Dairy is flavourless but ok, will it not introduce too much fat into my diet though?

I grew up in a pub and my dummy would be dipped in rum to help me sleep and teeth so somewhere between 0 and 1 for me  I liked a nip of cider or wine with dinner growing up but I've never been a big drinker and never drink without a meal or socially...

I did 16k steps yesterday and got 514 for my adjustment

A lot of us with similar amounts to lose here :)

I really struggle in the winter...long dark days and most of the time I just want to hibernate
-
Scotland here...returning member needing a kick up the bum and some support and motivation
-
Hi, I'm in Scotland, similar goals to you, I'm nearer 14 stone and looking to get to mid 11's. Been here before but fell off the wagon somewhat :/
-
I should get started on this too...been putting it off for a few days but woke up this morning thinking I needed to just get on with it! I'm a terrible one for procrastinating so a little accountability might not be a bad thing...
-
How on earth did your fitbit manage that? I use one but I override the readings with those from my hrm so I must admit I haven't paid too much attention to its readings... MissBounceUK - congrats on getting so far already this year :) amzypritchard - thanks for the support, week 7 seems a very long way away right now!
-
They'd better not flipping lie as I want to do this right at 1330 cals isn't a lot so I want all of it :D
-
Thank you Kekeleeks, I'm going to spend a bit of time playing with the two apps today and see what I come up with, I was a bit worried about setting it to lightly active in case it gave me too many calories And yep it's been pretty much straight cardio, only started adding in something different this week and I'd like to…
-
Well technically I'm from the Midlands but I live up in Scotland now...Telford born and bred...
-
Thank you :) Muffins and cakes aren't a regular thing and I fitted them in my calories so didn't think they'd be a problem so that sucks :( No I don't drink a litre, it should say 0.5 of a litre...I've tried almond milk, soya milk, goats milk...nasty stuff...like the frosted flakes, totally not good for me I know! I'm up…
-
Totally agree...but surely I'd be at least losing a little something with the changes I've already made? Could always drop the calories a little more anyhow :)
-
Nope, I'm entering it in fitbit so it overrides mfp...
-
Just finished my third workout a couple of mins ago...feeling warm and fuzzy now :)
-
Thank you for explaining all that, really appreciate you taking the time :) Next question...if my bmr is 1600 odd and its telling me to eat 1330 is this safe?
-
Third workout done and dusted...feeling good :)
-
Ahh ok, I was scared to mess with the settings mfp and fitbit gave me as I figured they knew better than me :)
-
How do I tell which is the correct set of settings to use?
-
Have done, thanks :)
-
Oh man...I think my brain just melted...learning Chinese is easier than this... A good first point is that I didn't adjust my mfp down to the fitbit starting point, how do I do that? My tdee is 2007, bmr 1670 and mfp has me at 1330...
-
Thank you for all your input everyone, I really appreciate it :) If I were to not eat exercise calories back would that be all of them (some days this is over 1000) or just the extra 200-300 I do jogging/jmbr?
-
Yes I do but it gets automatically overridden by my manually entering my hrm data...or so I was led to believe? I log it in the fitbit app and it seems to adjust correctly to me I'm not far off a month stuck at this now and I guess I just expected more...even a little would be nice! My fitbit tells me to aim for 2543 so…
-
I'm doing something similar im doing c25k with jmbr instead of 30ds, been at it a few days now and I prefer the c25k to the cardio dvds as I can get out and run in the park
-
Yep, every morsel is weighed and tracked, by not the best I mean I don't touch much of the green stuff (veggies) and like my chocolate but I keep it within my calorie goals... Emontag - well done with your loss :) I'm less active in the winter too so you've given me a good reference point there
-
I shall have a wee look into that, thanks :) I do sync it a few times a day but it's still worth checking!
-
Bump up to see if anyone has any ideas? In the absence of any feedback in the meantime I'll try dropping my target another 250 so that's the equivalent of eating less exercise calories back and see how that goes...
