  • You know what? It happens and now its the past. Can't change it. Good news is you are back 7 lbs heavier and not 15. You were able to regain control of your situation and now you are turning it all around. You are making a U-turn back to the road to good health and weight loss. Now let's look to the future.....a new…
  • Sometimes we need to shake things up even when we think we are doing it all wrong. Congrats on the 1 pound lost.
  • Thanks girlie. That's just the motivation I need to keep my fat booty moving. LOVE IT!!!!!
  • Nothing could be better than that!!!  :drinker: :drinker:
  • Have you had much success? I'm loving ten minute trainer right now but I have three weeks to finish the advanced rotation and I think I should go back and conquer the X, since I fell short last time. I can say ten minute trainer is kicking my butt as well.
  • Thanks Carvan. I thought that was a lot of calories too. I know I weight a lot but it's entirely possible I miscalculated. I am planning on doing the lean program which says its designed for people who need to drop some weight while sacrificing strength gains. I'm good with no strength gains for now.
  • That looks good and I can substitute the veggie crumbles for the meat. HMMM.
  • Do you log your exercise in as well? If so, what do you put it under. Right now, I'm using high impact aerobics to record ten minute trainer. What you said makes lots of sense. I won't be doing what the people on the video are doing. It just freaked me out that the nutrition guide suggested over 3,000 calories. :noway:
  • I am starting p90x when I complete ten minute trainer. I was wondering if you guys are following the calorie counts in the p90x book or on this website. My calorie count for p90x is more than double my calorie count here, over 3,000. I am very aware that you have to eat more calories when you are working out and this will…
  • Of course that counts! Way to good! I'm sure it was an awesome feeling! Keep up the good work!!!! :drinker:
  • 180 is not all bad. My goal weight is 179, but I am 5'11".
  • I'm currently doing the Ten Minute Trainer right now..also by Beachbody and Tony Horton. I tried the p90x years ago but didn't finish it. I'm planning on starting it again right after I finish the ten minute trainer in three weeks. I'm ready for the challenge!!
  • I would put you in the 165-180 range. You look thick, not in a bad way. I hear that all the time.
  • AWESOME!!!
  • Definitely a cup if not more.
  • So this morning I got up to do my workout. I was halfway through my workout when I just quit. I was so unmotivated and was not giving it my best effort. I planned to hit it hard when I got home from work. So, I'm at work and things are progressing. I'm eating and sticking to my plan. I leave for lunch to upgrade my…
  • This is one of my BIGGEST fears. I try to take the stairs whenever possible. I could not imagine. I'm one of those people if I have to take the elevator, it can't be crowded or I won't get on or will get off, if I'm all ready there. I'm so sorry this happened to you.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:…
  • I think you were beautiful in both. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dark hair!! SO HOT!!!
  • I've never heard of this brand, but if you feel like it would meet your needs....than why not? Hmm, wait. I do a lot of ebay selling and buying and this seller has too many negative feedback in ONE month. I would not buy it and that would be my reason.
  • What was your plan before this? You really don't want to overdo it and burn out. That is the quickest way to being back on the sidelines. I got tired just reading your plan. Big ups to you and here's to getting it done. No matter what! :drinker:
  • I'm sure this has been posted before---but I'm going to post again as a reminder and for people coming along that are getting discouraged with small losses. REFLECT AND ENJOY! Hello, do you know me? If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat, And I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.…
  • Sounds good overall. I would have to substitute the bread. Ciabatta bread just end up a wad in the back of my throat and not in a good way.
  • KUDOS!!!! :drinker:  :drinker:  :drinker:
  • Thanks guys. I was wondering if there was a site where I could put my own recipes and get the values. I'm making tuna tonight...I want to plug in all the ingredients and have the site kick back, the caloric content, fiber, carb, protein, etc.
  • Are there any sites where I can build a recipe and get the nutritional value?
  • This comes from the Oct 2006 issue of Fitness. For anyone who's ever been scale-obsessed...here are ten reasons not to be. "WAIT -- I WEIGHT HOW MUCH?" Can you believe what you see? Not always. Ten things that can skew your reading, from what you're wearing to how much fun you had last night. By Cynthia Sass, R.D. Good…
  • STAY OFF THE SCALE! IT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!--unless you are weighing in once a week. Our weight fluctuates daily for all kinds of reasons. You will be fine. Promise!!

  • I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian too. It has been great. I made the switch a couple of weeks ago. I find that it's a really easy lifestyle to follow. Just make sure to get in all all your food groups, veggie, fruit, whole grains,....I eat lots of beans for protein but I find that eating great veggie have the recommended protein…
  • It's totally up to you what you want to track...whatever motivates you.
  • Throwing in the towel will get you exactly- NOWHERE. This is a journey like life there are ups and downs. Do you see any other measurable effects of your hard work? Seriously, chin up. YOU CAN DO IT but most importantly.....YOU WILL!!
