  • Hi to both of you!! I'm in Smyrna, work in Lebanon.
  • I loveee Kind bars! They're usually 180-200 calories (and clean). Several flavors to choose from, but Cherry Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Peanut butter are my favorites. I've also started using the 21 day fix program which is helping me make sure I eat the right mix of foods. I eat too many startchy carbs and not…
  • And yes, please join the 21 day fix group!
  • I do the same thing as @mdt07. I'm in the 1500-1799 calorie range and set my calorie goal to 1500. Some people change the meal descriptions to container colors. I find that when I meet my container goals it comes out pretty close to 1500. I do occasionally go over by 100 calories or so.
  • Hi! Just found your post.. I'm a Les Mills addict! Combat, Attack, Pump, RPM, and my favorite..Grit Strength and Cardio! Grit is very expensive for Gyms to have. Something like $1,700 per month, just for one location. My local Gold's is awesome, but they only have one location offering grit. I go out of my way for these!
  • HI @Relaeh! I just searched Grit in the forums and found your post. I echo what @DawnEmbers is saying. I am a grit addict and have two favorite instructors that teach very differently. One shows form more and focuses on individual attention, the other tends to give a brief instruction of each move and does the workout with…

  • I love the 21 day fix eating & containers, but I'm not loving the workouts. My passion for exercise is group fitness and I am a Les Mills addict :). I absolutely love Body Combat, RPM, Pump and my favorite is Grit HIIT workouts. They are soooo effective! I'm about to complete my first round and will continue the eating…
  • Wow!!!!! I hope you're a discount coach :). We only have p90x3, body combat, and 21 day fix. Thinking T25 is next!
  • Woot keep going @dkwi04! Crossing fingers you have a good weigh-in @SatiaRenee! I did lower body last night, tonight is Cardio. Snickerdoodle Shakeo for breakfast :).
  • :( I can only imagine! There will be 20k+ people downtown so it will be a crowd! My husband isn't going (he does not tolerate crowds very well). I'm actually staying at the Opryland Hotel with my coach's group for the convenience of not driving downtown.
  • I haven't done the 21 day fix doubles yet. Thinking I will this weekend. I usually do Les Mills Grit Cardio and Strength Saturday mornings so this should be OK for me :). For Grit we take a 15 min break between sessions. Do you eat a bit more when doing 21 day fix doubles? For Grit Saturdays I usually add 2-300 calories.
  • @SatiaRenee maybe an early birthday present? :).
  • by the way... i don't think you can pre-order Cize yet. Will keep you posted. I know there is a Cize workout on the "on demand" which you can try for a month.
  • Thank you! I normally buy the onion and bell peppers whole (2 of each color) and chop etc,. But this week I cheated and purchased Publix's pre-chopped packages. Then added the shredded carrots, green beans and snap peas. Sauteed in 2 tbsp of coconut oil on medium heat for 10 min or so.
  • Lunch today :)... and for the rest of the week. Penne pasta with lean hamburger, and organic red sauce (no salt or sugar added) Mixed Veggies (Bell Peppers, Green Beans, Snap peas, and onion) Grapes 1.5 Yellow ( whole grain pasta) 1 Red (lean ground beef) 2 Green (Veggies) 2 purple (tomato sauce and grapes) 1/2 blue -…
  • Here's the Canada info :).
  • Here's the list!
  • Nashville, TN area (Smyrna)! Excited that summit is in my "backyard"!
  • Some clothing is available already :)
  • I'm from the Nashville, TN area (Smyrna). I'm a business analyst for a medical device company.
  • Thank you!! I'm headed out of town the last week of June for work. We went camping last weekend and, of course, I fell of the wagon. But for my work trip, I'm planning on staying on track! Even taking my blender for Shakeology!
  • Odd... my first week and a half I'm down 3 lbs, but now inches. I didn't weigh this weekend (went camping and fell off the wagon), but will again by mid-week.
  • I'm on week 3... down 3 pounds in the first week and a half. Fell off the "wagon" slightly this weekend camping, but back on track today. Day, 22 I'll continue with another round. Then once my goal is met, I will be on the "maintain" plan of the fix. Eating more, but still watching portions, and balancing the mix of what I…
  • I drink the milk! But I do use unsweetened almond milk which is only 40 calories . I prefer it over 2% milk now.
  • Yummm Taco Bell. That's for dinner tonight! Two taco supreme's.
  • I will eat a few back, but not all. It really depends on the intensity of exercise for me. If it's a regular workout where i burn 400 or so calories I don't eat them back. But, If i'm doing Les Mills Grit (HIIT workout) and a double session, I'll definitely eat more (mostly extra carb for enegery before workout and protein…
  • Hi Bernice, I hop your first week went well! I'm in the middle of week two and loving it! Two pounds down last week. Thank you GuruRas for the macro breakdown! I've been wondering what percentages to use for protein, carbs and fats.
  • I am a carb lover! Bread, rice, potatoes..yum! I started the "21 day fix" which helps balance calories and portions of meat, protein, veggies, fruit and fats. They provide color-coded containers and you eat a certain number of each container per day. I'm on the 1500-1800 plan which allows for 3 yellows (1/2 cup each) of…
  • I second what lishie said. I didn't realize i was an over-pronater until going to feet fleet and being properly fitted. I also love New Balance stores, they have a machine that you step on and it tells you where most of the weight/pressure is on your feet and recommends shoes/inserts based on that.
