Check out the DASH diet. Also, like someone mentioned cook your own meals....and use natural herbs and spices. If you need to use premade seasoning Mrs. Dash is great!

I did this years ago and nearly passed out, I was EXERCISING pretty heavy at the time. I wouldn't recommend that anyone do it for any long term weight loss. I mean if you need to lose ten pounds quickly for some event....yeah this will probably do it, but anything long term....naaaah!

No, I don't feel like it's cheating...it's a necessity for some, we're all not perfect. I suffer from dunlap and backfat and I can't STAND to see a person wearing fitted clothing looking like the Michelin Man.

As a person who has to watch their sodium, I don't eat them. Even if I didn't have issues with salt I wouldn't eat because the sodium content is just TOO high...smh. It's sad because some of those meals do look tasty.

I was/am an emotional eater as well! I say just have "Healthy Junk" on hand! Stock up on grapes, strawberries, snack bars (Kashi has some greats ones!), and when you have that urge...reach for that instead! It takes some time, but you'll be able to break out of that cycle.

During my TOM I get cravings I've never had and of course gain weight due to water. I just don't even think about it anymore because it's something I can't control....dah well! LOL

I've been tracking mine since last year when I was diagnosed with hypertension. It's difficult at first, because so much of the food that we eat is LOADED with sodium. It will get easier though....I don't consume more than 1200 mg of sodium daily.
