Don't go to the store when you are hungry and ALWAYS have a shopping list so that you don't fall to temptation and buy something you shouldn't have. The hardest part of your journey is the beginning. You will have withdrawl symptoms....FIGHT THEM! Drink water and go for walks or do something else to keep you busy. My…

150 sit-ups (this part is going to kill me) and 15 cups of water (the bathroom is my friend).

I only drank 11 glasses yesterday...BUT that is better than the 8 that I usually drink. I am working up to 15...I will get there today.

I am totally on board with your challenge...One more question: Are we counting just water or all beverages? For instance, I tend to drink green tea and herbal tea while at work and water before and after workouts... I would agree that coffee and soda should not count, but healthy juices and other drinks. What do you think?

I have found that I run about half the distance ( a little more than half) outdoors than what I run on the treadmill. The treadmill is easy, it is springy and if I want to run faster I just up the speed.…

Okay that would definitely be my favorite. My second is running. I can put the earplugs in and just go.

Feel free to add me. According to the height and weight charts, the weight that I am happy at is my borderline 'fat' weight. I really don't like putting much stock in those charts. I do have about 30 pounds to loose to get to my happy weight but I am pushing for 40. I really like to run and this year I have signed up for a…

All of the ideas mentioned are great ideas. I would be on board with anything that you came up with. Challenges are a good way to stay on track.

My name is Jaclyn. I work part-time at a church. I have 4 boys (17, 14, 9, 5) who keep me pretty busy. I have been running after work...sometimes outside, but mostly on my treadmill. I am working my way up to 5 miles without having to walk, right now I can do 3 miles. I like to workout after work because that is when I…
