And this thread is a very good example of why I stay out of the forums most of them time. The OP was offering to others wanting to get/stay healthy some help. And got crucified for it. Goodness gracious people.

I like the sausage and salsa idea. throw it all in the microwave for a great breakfast or snack. SOmetimes these forums are not all bad

Egg whites only and it is a convenience thing for me. Sometimes they are more portable depending on what you have going on. easier to deal with than peeling an egg and pitching the yolk. throw it in the microwave and you have scrambled eggs. I do get the ones that are egg whites only. nothing else in the carton.

First, I am also 5'2" and i would love to weight 110 but that is not realistic for me. I know you said you don't like working out but I strongly suggest adding some weight training to your lifestyle. Your "flab" will slowly go away and be replaced with muscle. You may weigh the same, or even a little more, but you will be…

Don't eat the biscuits, buns, wraps. Really not that hard. The hamburgers they give you lettuce to wrap it in and a big container with fork and knife if you want it. Only 100 calories with no bun. I will usually get two if I am really hungry. Breakfast I will get sausage and egg with no biscuit. It is really good.

Totally disagree. Not want to put crap in my body has absolutely nothing to do with putting in hard work. I can actively argue just the opposite.

One of the reasons I don't do pre/post work out powders like the ones you mention is all of the ingredients in them. I do not eat 100% clean but I cannot make it right in my head to drink something that 99% of the ingredients I cannot pronounce.

Of course none of us are qualified and while I do not disagree with anything others have said: If you are working out, depending on what you are doing, for someone with your natural metabolism you are going to gain weight. I would say you should increase your calories and Net 1200 but depending on what your workouts are…

same here. add me and we will get each other there!

Definitely not overnight!

Totally agree! left my son alone at 10 and have said many times I trusted him then more than I do now.

Sculpting Her Body Perfect is better for beginners in my opinion. I did that one first and I don't really like programs. It lets you put your own routines together. Food suggestions, not exactly what to eat

I got the book New Rules of Lifting... and i agree totally. Also another that worked really well for me about 6 years ago was Sculpting Her Body Perfect. Easy to follow.

20 minutes is not enough. my old gym gave 30 minutes - old gym. And it is too darn cold to run outside, plus dark by the time I get home and as a female I am not going out alone after dark. If the gym does get crowded I am lucky enough I can just go later but not everyone has that luxury.

I do tend to eat less on days I really work out hard, with long runs or long time lifting, I am just not hungry after a good workout. That said, I do make myself eat. If I don't I will be starving as my body is in recovery mode the next day.

It is easy to obsess or get stuck in a rut when you are trying to be healthy. Mix things up, especially your exercise routine. May be hard in the winter depending on where you live but if there is a somewhat nice day get out side and walk or run or something. Mix up the routine and that usually breaks me out of feeling a…

Oh, CONGRATS on the weight loss!!!

Hi! I have been gluten free for almost a year now and it is getting easier and easier. Stalk my diary all you want  I am also dairy free. I very rarely eat gluten free bread, gluten free baked goods, etc. If I want a sandwich i wrap it in lettuce. I do like cake and cupcakes and cookies and will bake them from time…

Don't be so touchy if people disagree with you. Goodness. Everyone is different when it comes to exercise. That is why they offer free classes. Try it. One person wanted some guidance and look what happened.

I use Spark People Recipe Builder. Easy to use then transfer the informaiton in to MFP.

eggs are going to be a problem. there are eggs in some of the recipes. I feel very bad for you! Wheat belly is a good book if you are looking for alternatives. That was my goal with picking this up. Not to follow some fad diet.

As for dairy I do like Soy milk but I think more research needs to be done on the sourcing of it. Multi-Vitamins are very important to make sure we are getting enough calcium and vitamin d.
-
I have developoed the same thing. Check out Wheat Belly book. It has some really good tips and recipes. I just at the Applesauce Walnut "Bread" with a little smart balance butter on it and it was absolutely wonderful. He talks about getting rid of wheat, gluten and offers solutions for dairy sensitivities as well. Good…

A few small things that have helped my stay on track. Dark Chocolate. I am eating 90% Llindt right now and it is delicious. One square usually after lunch at my desk at work. Drink more water and I have unfortunatley commited to cutting way back on my bread and carb intake. Only day 3 so I will let you know how it goes. My…

Whatever. Find a better support group if you need a support group.

I don't weigh myself. The only reason I know my recent weight is because we had a free health evaluation at my work which included fasting blood work and they weighed us before they took our blood. Two months before that I was weighed before doing a pump and run (pump amount depends on your weight). I also don't measure…
